YAZ

"Come on pooch run with me before I leave"

I look over at papa and he nods we head to the woods behind the general store and strip taking off I haven't ran with my uncle in years it feels so good we run for a while and stop at the old oak tree my brother use to bring girls here my uncle AAron tells me all about his escapades at this tree when he was young as we lean against it regailing the past. After a while we shift back taking off again and playing until I hear something and stop in my tracks.

" what's up?"

"someones out there"

he stops and sniffs the air

" Blood river lets get back to the store"

we head back to the store cutting our run a little short " Back already?"

I shrug my uncle sighs " Yeah had some visitors pop"

He looks at me "Your parents?"

I shake my head " Nah my father uses wisp and it was two men from the smell guess sentinals"

He nods " Just keep an eye out when you run again I know you are always safe Poochie"

I nod hugging him "Always papa I am going head out"

He nods and I hug goodbye to my uncle heading out and going to the shore with the girls we drag down the barbque and start cooking as the guys come over.

"Hey Yaz"

I turn "Hey Davin whats up?"

"Question what are you ladies doing tomorrow?"

I shrug "No clue I am off work"

"Would you guys like to go to the water park with us?"

"Um sure"

He looks at me intently "are you okay?"

I look at my phone as it buzzes

"Three men came in here being cocky a$$holes as soon as you left"

"Are you and papa okay?"

"All good poochie took care of it, if you run be on the look out for the mongers they seemed defiant"

"I will keep on guard see you Uncle AAron"

"Hello earth to Yazmine"

I look up as Davin waves his hand in my face

"Oh sorry I'm fine just some jerks from the country club community starting crap at papa's store"

"He okay?"

"Yeah he is fine we can deal with those entitled pricks trust me"

he chuckles "Yeah all you have to do is break out that pouty face"

"Oh she hit you with the puppy eyes"

He chuckles at Cat "Yeah got exactly what she wanted"

Mari giggles "Was it food? I bet it was food"

"Chips"

I laugh a little " I can do it on more than just food"

Cat speaks up "I call bullsh*t"

She turn to Luke " Luke can you please go roll" she puts the whole face on I nearly crack before he does takes a total of 5 seconds

"On it sh*t thats good"

she giggles doing a kurtsy and smiles " told you"

Cat claps " Okay I have been disproven master Yoda"

"So water park?"

Yaz looks at me " Yeah I'm down"

the other girls agree Luke rolls two coming back we smoke one and Mike and Cat take off on their own as the four of us share the second one. After eating we all head inside watching a movie. Yaz stops it staring at them

"Hey Jonny and June if you are going to suck face keep it down or go in another room"

I let out a laugh I tried so hard to keep in and she glares at me " Do you want to start?"

I lift my hands in surrender " my bad"

She rolls her eyes turning the movie back on and gets up going to the kitchen I getup following her " Yaz are you good?"

She turns looking at me " Um yeah I just I am worried about those guys coming back starting with my grandfather and I am itchy thinking about it"

I look at her arms "were you in the forest today?"

"Um a little why?"

I chuckle "Yaz that isn't a stress itch it's poison oak"

"What? no I have never...Sh*t the tree.... Oh I am going to end AAron!"

She grabs her phone walking outside I see her calling someone and then yelling over and over she hangs up and pokes her head in "Want to go to the store with me? I need camomile lotion"

"Sure"

we head out and I kick the dirt "So what were you and AAron in the woods for?"

" He was showing me this stupid rope swing him and his friends use to hang out at the tree that it is on has poison oak I guess because I leaned against it so did he"

I nod " I know that tree the guys and I use to take girls skinny dipping there and"

I stop seeing her glare "Sorry probably not a good story to tell when your arm is all itchy"

She rolls her eyes "Nah you think Big guy?"

I chuckle as we get to the store she heads in the back and comes out carring two bags. " I grabbed you some drink mix figured you might be low"

"Um cool thanks saves me a trip Monday allthough I don't mind coming here"

She giggles "Yeah for sticky buns"

"Hey I like the scones two"

"Noted... I make them both they are my grandmothers recipes"

when we get back to the house Yaz heads to bed after the movie the guys and I head back to the Mansion

"Hey you guys remember the old oak with the rope swing"

"Yeah man that was some fun times"

I nod at luke "Yeah guess it has some poison oak growth now Yaz and AAron where over there today and she had the itch"

"Damn dude maybe we can take care of that, then take the girls?"

"I am not going near that sh*t it is nearly as bad as wolfsbane"

I chuckle at Mike he isn't wrong though poison oak does even make us itch pretty bad "I will get Motly to do it he is pretty good at getting rid of stuff like that"

They both nod and we all go are seprate ways as we enter the house heading to bed.
