Ritō didn’t see it coming as he was too fast, but somehow his hand was moved automatically by using his blade to block the attack from Hitokiri-Kenshi. However, because it was too powerful and very close distance, Ritō was forced to fly backward a few meters away as well. Even though he didn’t directly receive the blow from Hitokiri-Kenshi; the Qi-energy from the Mukeifūken-ryū was too powerful that caused Ritō to vomit a little blood from his mouth and kneel on the ground. With these two techniques met together, it caused a big explosion surrounding them as they both also were pushed away backward.
