CHAPTER 19-FOUR VS ONE

756 Words
However, Chinhō doesn’t know that he was the one that is going to end here. Then he strikes again at Hitokiri-Kenshi as he saw Hitokiri-Kenshi was still not prepared yet as it must be exhausted and injured from earlier battle. So this is the chance for him to kill Hitokiri-Kenshi, he thought. This time he strikes with the level 6 of Mukeifūken-ryū (from the fake book) to Hitokiri-Kenshi direction but he doesn’t know that Hitokiri-Kenshi was actually pretending hurted badly. When Chinhō is getting close enough to him, Hitokiri-Kenshi suddenly strikes with the true level 6 as well, “Kazamai-Rokuken / Fēngwǔ-Liújiàn (WindDance of SixSwords)” to countered the attack from Chinhō. Certainly, Chinhō was flown backward as those 2 techniques met together, causing a huge explosion surrounding them. However, when Chinhō was still flying in the mid-air, Hitokiri-Kenshi rushed toward him at high speed. And for the final strike, he uses the level one “Ikken-Fūkon / Yījiàn-Fēnghún (OneSword-SealedSoul)” to s***h at the neck of Chinhō by passing over. Hitokiri-Kenshi: “This is the original of Mukeifūken-ryū. Watch and learn…!!!” With this, Chinhō fell down to the ground and died in bleeding before he can speak up. And for the 4 bodyguards, even though they're not dead but still they’re beaten completely by Hitokiri-Kenshi; and not to mention their employer has also died, there is no reason for them to continue their fight anymore. Hitokiri-Kenshi also didn’t take their life as he still respects them as they’re famous and great martial-art pugilists. Unless, if they still can stand up to continue the fight, then the story would be different. The 4 of them also realized that even if they still can fight, they are no match for Hitokiri-Kenshi anyway. Since then, so many people are looking for Hitokiri-Kenshi. Some were looking for his services and some also wanted to catch him; interrogating him about who hired him to kill those people, including the government as he had killed one of the empire ministers (Chinhō). Even though he is a mercenary (which only kills if he is paid). Since they didn’t know who hired Hitokiri-Kenshi to kill those people, and the person still remained unknown for his identity, they could only look for Hitokiri-Kenshi. But one thing for sure, Hitokiri-Kenshi himself also didn’t know either. For now, it’s best for him to stay away first. Now the rumor has spread so fast as everyone is looking for him. And eventually the one who spread this rumor was Ryohyō. And he already noticed half of his accomplices were slaughtered by someone called Hitokiri-Kenshi. Ryohyō wants to catch Hitokiri-Kenshi no matter what, whether to interrogate him or to eliminate him. So, he prepared a plan to lure Hitokiri-Kenshi into the trap by hiring him to kill someone for him. When Hitokiri-Kenshi received the mission from the mercenary guild at the underground city, he hesitated at the moment since he decided to lay low for a while. However, after being persuaded, he decided to take that job for one last time, then he will rest for a while. No matter what, it’s true that he killed the government minister, so it’s better for him to stay away from the crowd temporarily. But since he can't avoid that new mission, he has to do it. By following from the clue that he got, he went for his mission on that day. However, when he just arrived there, he felt something was wrong. The place looks like it has been abandoned for quite a long time, which is full of dust and broken. Seems like no one has lived here for a very long time. But this place was too big for a residence. He doesn't know what place it is, but one thing for sure this place could be a location of a sect, a big sect that used to be located here. He doesn’t know if the sect moved away to another location or have been dismissed. When he was sure that this location was not right, he tried to leave but when he just turned over, suddenly he felt a presence here. Then some people started to pop up one after another. There are about 7 people and the last one could be their leader. Mystery person: “Where did you want to go, kiddo??” Hitokiri-Kenshi: “Who are you people???” Mystery person: “My name is Ryohyō, and I'm the one who hired you…”
