Kyokō knew even if he and his younger brother unite together, still wouldn't be able to win over this guy as he was much more strong and powerful than both of them even Kyoshō was not fatal at all as Hitokiri-Kenshi stabbed on the right side of his abdomen. Not only that, he also realized that Hitokiri-Kenshi used Mukeifūken-ryū to attack him earlier. So the chance was very slim for them to kill Hitokiri-Kenshi but still they have no other choice but try as much as they can. However, before that.

When Kyokō still not come back to his sense yet, Hitokiri-Kenshi quickly use Mukeifūken-ryū another techniques “Ikken-Fūkon / Yījiàn-Fēnghún (OneSword-SealedSoul)” by slashing over Kyokō’s throat. With that final blow, Kyokō falls to the ground while he holds his throat to prevent his blood from coming out but it's just in vain. Certainly, Kyoshō who is still injured and saw his older brother has been eliminated by Hitokiri-Kenshi, can't hold his anger.
