859 Words
That fake book may be with Ryohyō as well. However, not only Ryohyō, the others who are also involved in this matter, one-by-one of them will pay the price for what they did. As Kōgo found, there were so many footprints around the fight scene. So obviously, it was not Ryohyō alone who did that to his Shishō. Those people must be the same culprits that annihilated Unkensō. The sword techniques mentioned inside the book have nine levels. However, Chōbun only learned it until level 6. The 2 last levels until his death, he never mastered it and that's what he taught to Kōgo. But he only taught Kōgo some of it, which was only until level 2. So, the current Kōgo, if he wants to take down Ryohyō, just like climbing the sky. Even Ryohyō learned from a fake book but at least he already mastered it until level nine, the fake level nine. He just doesn't realize yet the effect of learning the fake martial-arts would affect his body someday. Even so, he is still a powerful pugilist in this world. That’s why Kōgo needs more practice to mastered it if he wants to get revenge. Actually, what Chōbun wanted was not Kōgo to master it for avenge but to strengthen himself so one day he has the ability to re-build Unkensō. But where is the original book location? So, let’s explain a little from the letter that was left by Chōbun. Eventually, there is a secret passage that leads to an underground tunnel inside the Chōbun room. The entrance of the tunnel is hidden under his bed that was designed perfectly as no one can expect there to be an entrance under the bed. Even Ryohyō and his accomplices have searched all around the house but still have not found anything. Kōgo immediately searched the passage entrance and it was truly there, like his Shishō said. So he gets inside into the underground tunnel and walks for quite some time until he reaches the end of the tunnel where there is a big cave inside. Inside the cave there was a tomb there. It’s Seimei Sōshu's grave. There, he also found Seimei Sōshu's coffin which opened widely. Turns out, it was true. The original Mugen Keisho was there. As Chōbun told him to do, he tried to learn all the martial art sword skills from the book including the last level of the sword. After practising for a while, he still can’t master the last part of the sword skill, just like Chōbun did. He was so confused and also did not understand the profound secret of that last part. So like it or not, he abandoned the last part for now, until he understood the real meaning of it. However, he still managed to learned until level 8 of Mukeifūken-ryū. That’s why he still can be called one of the martial-arts prodigy. Then he travelled around the pugilistic world and became Hitokiri-Kenshi. Since Kōgo became a mercenary, he abandoned the name “Kōgo” that his Shishō gave him. Not because he had already forgotten his Shishō, but precisely because he wanted to hide his identity for caution. Nobody knows if Ryohyō and his accomplices knew about him or not. To be a mercenary Hitokiri-Kenshi or Mumei-Kenshi not only to survive, but also to investigate those culprits that were involved in his Shishō's death. So, with that name, it might be dangerous for him to stay in the pugilistic world. Not only that, without the name, he won’t count on not to obey his passed away Shishō which told him not to take revenge. As he thought, his dead Shishō only told him (Kōgo) not for revenge but didn’t say if with another identity can’t avenge. At least, this was an excuse for himself so he can give himself a chance to do what he wanted. Now he only has one name which is Ryohyō, but still the other accomplished had not yet been found. So, he planned to get all the names then started his revenge from the lowest one. He already swore in front of his Shishō’s grave that he promised will re-build the sect again once he finished his revenge mission. However, for now; he wants to get rid of them first. If not, he couldn’t get sleep at night, he said. After 4 years became a mercenary Hitokiri-Kenshi, he gained a lot of reputation for himself and was quite famous for both in the underground world or the pugilistic world. He was killing for a living. Not only in that, but also in the whole wide across the mainland. With that, certainly there was pro and contra. Some people admired him for his capability if they hired him, he never missed to eliminate his target. However, there are also some other people who don't like him as well whether they are afraid or they are just jealous, whether they’re from a pugilistic world or the underground world. There once happened, when he just received a mission to eliminate someone.
