CHAPTER 10-FIGHT THE FIRST TARGET

Not yet on his feet, those 2 people already saw it so they rushed again at him to s***h him horizontally with their swords together. Certainly, Hitokiri-Kenshi was not the first day of school, so he noticed it coming so he quickly bent over his upper body by sliding through their swords from below. When he just passed over them, he quickly spins his body to their direction so now his position is looking at their back then quickly releases “Shikū-Kenkyo / Sìkōng-Jiànxū (FourVoid-Swords)” to finish them. Usually, a normal pugilist with Qi-energy inside his body won't easily kill by one technique of Mukeifūken-ryū unless they were dying or hit by another technique again. However, this level 4 sword technique can release 4 times Qi-energy from the sword. So each of them received a double hit which calculated for 4. Not only that, they were also hit on their vital spot that caused them instant death on the scene. The other 2 of their comrades who got injured earlier, quickly run away before Hitokiri-Kenshi kills them. After that, Hitokiri-Kenshi thinks about who those people are. Only 2 explanations, which one is they were after the book when he was already exposed the sword-skills when he was involved in that war. And the other one, it might be Ryohyō, who sent them. Those 2 possibilities are the most reasonable. Besides those, he can't think of another possibility anymore. A few months later, suddenly he received a mission to kill one of the sect leaders who was known as evil and tyranny. The sect was located in one of the small towns in En-Koku territory which now is under Ki-Koku jurisdiction. Now he has reached that town. The target he’s looking for is staying in this town as he is the sect leader. Coincidentally, his target was also one of the culprits that finished Unkensō and also his Shishō, Chō-bun. Until now Hitokiri-Kenshi only got a few of the names of those culprits. So, he will start from this one as for the mission as well. It’s 2 birds with one stone, he thinks. This target name is “Shinyū (Shěn-Yǒng)”. The Shinyū sect was not big but quite famous for their tyranny activities. All these years, if not supported by Ryohyō and backed by the local government, his sect was dismissed a long time ago. So as long as Shinyū needs help from Ryohyō, he will always become Ryohyō henchmen. Hitokiri-Kenshi comes at night and sneaks into Shinyū place. Shinyū was in his study room when Hitokiri-Kenshi came by kicking at his door.

Shinyū: “Whatta?? Who are you??”

Hitokiri-Kenshi: “Someone paid a high price for your head… Swinnggg…” (pull out the sword),

Shinyū: “Huh??? Who was that guy who paid for my head??? I can pay you more, brother…”

Hitokiri-Kenshi: “I was paid to kill, not to answer...”

Shinyū: “Huh… Do you think you will be able to finish me?? Look at this place… it's my territory!!! Hyaahhh…” (throw the sheath),

Shinyū throwing his sword sheath to Hitokiri-Kenshi direction. He wards it off with his sheath either which his sword still inside the scabbard. Then when he looked ahead, Shinyū was already thrusting toward him at full speed. However, Hitokiri-Kenshi blocks it with his sheath with one hand and holds it still when Shinyū is still trying to push him backward to show off his strength. Then he spins his sheath in a circle, and pulls out the sword to s***h horizontally at Shinyū. Shinyū was a little surprised but he managed to turn over to the Hitokiri-Kenshi left side to avoid it. If not, his throat will be cut open by Hitokiri-Kenshi. They both fought equally inside the study room for a while and caused a big explosion inside the room. It alerted the Shinyū sect of all disciples to come around. They’re all standing outside the room. Not long after, those 2 people inside the room finally came out and fought in the courtyard. Shinyū disciples quickly come to aid him by joining the battle to fight Hitokiri-Kenshi. At the beginning, Hitokiri-Kenshi was still not using his secret sword skills, which is Mukeifūken-ryū. He still used other sword skills to fight equally with Shinyū and his disciples. Hitokiri-Kenshi knows he can’t waste any more time so he has to use Mukeifūken-ryū to finish them all as fast as he can, even some of the Shinyū disciples were slaughtered by him but still not enough. When Shinyū disciples surround him and try to attack together, suddenly he is also rushing toward them then using his sheath to stab on the ground to help him to make spin sliding around them while he also keeps swinging his sword to counter the attack from Shinyū disciples so they can’t get closer. After spins for 1 round, then he stop by spinning his body into the mid-air then release “SichiKen-SeiOtosu / Qījiàn-Xīngluò (SevenSwords-StarFall)”, the level 7 of the Mukeifūken-ryū. This technique is one of the formidable techniques inside the Mukeifūken-ryū. It creates 7 shadows that circling the enemy and attack in all directions, after that all the shadows disappear by combining as one and strike from mid-air by stab on the ground for the finishing.
