The googly eyes

Julius P.o.v She’s warming up to me, a lot sooner than I thought. All morning she hasn’t said a word, she zoned out staring at me. I want to know what she’s thinking, she walks alongside me with her books in hand. She takes small peeks at me but I know she’s trying to behave. I wonder what she’s like, outside of school. “Hey why are you so distant today” she didn’t say anything right away but she just turned and looked at me without stopping. “Can we talk about this after school?” I didn’t question her anymore but I can tell she has something on her mind, she grips her book a little tighter.  We walk into the class together, it’s the same as yesterday mixed emotions I get from the class. Some people say hello, mostly the girls and scowls from the rest. I take my seat behind Percy. Her hair is pulled up into a messy bun that falls perfectly on top of her head. Class was relatively quick, granted I was staring at Persephone the whole class. The end of the day couldn’t come soon enough, I find my bus and take the seat me and Percy sit in, she usually takes a bit to get to the bus I was wondering if I should have stayed and walked with her. Stupid I should have walked with her, when she gets to the bus she walks on and smiles my way. I swear that girl makes my heart skip a beat. I smile back at her, she comes and sits by me. “So how was the rest of your day?” she says while sitting down, I don’t know if I should ask her again why she was so distant. She doesn’t really talk. I get that but this is different. “It was um, ok, how about you?” she looked at me and she seemed a little chipper. “You know what good, I noticed Demetri wasn’t in my classes which made today bearable” I like seeing her in a good mood, she does seem more relaxed than before. “So about earlier, can we talk about that, you said you had something to tell me.” The bus took off with its insides full of kids talking and buzzing much louder than in the morning. “Oh that.” She took her phone and opened an app, she typed something in and turned the screen to me. I saw that it was i********: and a page with my name but it wasn’t mine. “Oh you thought that was me, nah I don’t have any social media.” I closed the app and put my number in her phone, I turned the phone back to her and she seemed content. We didn’t say anything for the rest of the ride. My stop was first, I said bye and got off. I enter my home, I must be the first to arrive. I go to the kitchen and look for some after school snacks. I wonder when my brother will be home. He stays here instead of paying for on campus dorms. I walk to my bedroom down the hall, then close the door behind me. I take all the contents out of my bag, and separate my assignments by class and tackle them individually. I spent a decent amount of time doing homework but I got it all done, some of the assignments that I've completed before were easier.  I take out my phone and turn it on, the moment I do. I see that there is a message from a number that must have been from Percy.  Can you please come to my house? I didn't know what to say but I agreed and left to go to her house  I know these chapters are a little short but I promise I'm not holding out on the story
