Come on already

Persephone’s P.o.v

I wake up to my window cracked open, a slight fall breeze comes in with a whistle. I check my phone and it's seven o’clock. I didn’t get any notifications from the i********: I added, so I headed to the kitchen to start my morning routine. 

Make sure my mother is breathing, check. Make coffee, check. Some quick breakfast, no food, somewhat check. Grab school clothes, check. And then finally a shower. Check.

I pack up my homework into my bag and make my way to my bus stop. It’s much cooler today, I can feel the winter coming as each breeze brushes through my sweater. The husky yellow bus huffed and puffed it’s way to the corner where me and a few other kids stood. It screeched to a stop and flung it’s heavy doors open. I made it to my favorite seat, Julius isn’t on the bus yet. My heart picks up as each stop gets closer to Julius’s. 

We reached another bus stop, allowing kids to get on the bus and make their way to the seats where they found their friends. I noticed the hair before he came into full view. When he emerges fully onto the bus his eyes are set on mine, the way he watches me and only me makes my heart speed up. I can feel my core tighten with the urge for him to touch me. He said something but I couldn’t make out what he said, I just kept staring at his lips. Watching them floods me with some kind of sensational thought of them against mine, his eyebrows folded making him look even sexier. “Did you hear anything I said?” I snapped back to us on a bus filled with students, I tried to come up with something he said but I could only see the movement of his lips. The stern look never left his face. “I said good morning to you.” I feel my cheeks getting hot, I can’t believe I’m feeling this so soon, I don’t even know him. “S-sorry I wasn’t really listening.” his lips curled up into a playful smile, I sucked in a breath not knowing the effect Juilius has on me. He turned to face forward but the smile never left his face.

The bus pulled into the school bus lot, Saxs High is a relatively big school. When we made it to the entrance, the sidewalk was filled with kids pouring out of their beastly busses. Getting ready for a not so epic day of school. I look to my left and Julius is still by my side “hey I’m going to my locker. I’ll meet up with you in class” he nodded his head and went in another direction. “Where you are going isn’t your locker this way.” he turned to face me but he kept walking “some girl 

gave me a new one” I took out my phone to see if the page added me back and still no luck.

I made it to class and saw that Julius is already there, I sat in my seat and pulled out the homework. I saw that Demetri wasn’t in class. Or his goons, come to think of it I haven’t received a threatening endangered morning at all. I tried to pay attention but I can feel eyes on me, I slowly scan before landing on Julius’s eyes directly on me. His eyes are breathtaking, everything about him makes me want him more. He doesn’t break contact while he c****d his head to the side. So playful yet sexy. I hate it’s the end of the week, I won’t be able to see Julius until Monday, I turned around but the feeling of him looking at me never went away. I try to focus on the notes so the homework would be easier, but I can’t get out of my thoughts.

The bell ends, I feel more nervous going to the next class. Julius sits right behind me in that class. I don’t know if I can handle being in front of him. I gather my books slowly out of habit, I haven’t seen Demetri at all but I’m not trying to take any chances. 

I walk out the class to find Julius waiting for me, he has the same sly smile he wore earlier on the bus. “Walk with me doll” I wonder if he knows I added him, I should ask because this is taking ages. I smiled at him and we started off to class.
