As I walked into the house my arms were grabbed and an instant later I was shoved into the wall. I didn't wince but my wolf growled at the roughness.

"Where the f**k have you been," Aiden snarled at me. The guys were sitting restlessly around the room, eyes watching us but they wouldn't intervene. It was considered the height of rudeness to intervene between two mates.

"Out Aiden."

"You think I can't smell a f*****g guy all over you." he snarled in my ear.

"Why do you care?" I hissed "you have what you want, don't you."

"You are my f*****g wife Casey , " he gripped my wrists and slammed them into the wall, holding me in place. Our faces inches apart. He squeezed my wrists tightly. I knew he was trying to hurt me but I refused to let it show on my face.

"You don't care about me Aiden, you never did. I was a convenient Alpha female to bear your child. A f*****g stupid girl who was infatuated with you , as well as being a serious f**k you to my father."

"You will not make a fool of me," he snarled.

"He doesn't know you, you cretin." Aiden released my wrists and his hands instead wrapped around my throat.

"I am your Alpha, your husband. You will f*****g Honour me." he snarled, one hand remaining on my throat as the other began pulling roughly on My top, tearing it half open.

"NO." I growled, pushing him back, but he was stronger than me. Aiden raised his hand and slapped me across the face. My wolf growled inside me how f*****g dare he, I snarled. His eyes locked on mine completely gold with anger.

"Aiden," Gareth put it tentatively,

"Guys Go Run." Aiden snarled, not taking his eyes from me squeezing my throat,

"Cass," Stanley said tentatively.

"OUT," Aiden snarled, his eyes locked on me deep anger blazing through them. I saw the boys slowly get up and begin shuffling towards the door all of them clearly hesitant. I knew something with a sudden clarity.

"STOP." I shouted, struggling to get enough breath in my lungs to shout, but I knew I had to. All the boys stumbled to a halt, several of them looking unsure as their legs just stopped moving. I locked my eyes on Aiden defiantly.

"GET OUT NOW," He screamed, trying to call on his Alpha tone,

"SIT." I Snarled, and I couldn't stop myself flinching as all the boys instantly dropped to the floor, unable to deny a direct command from an Alpha. I was outranking Aiden. He snarled, baring his teeth as both hands sprung to my throat and he gripped it tightly, his nails biting into my neck.

"You will not defy me, this is MY PACK." His voice was a shout by the end.

"You want to try that theory?" I growled , "look whose asses are on the floor. Now let...me...go." I put as much Alpha tone into my voice as I could . Aiden's hands sprang open, his eyes showed clear fury. He turned and strode into the bedroom slamming the door behind him. I covered my face with my hands as I took several deep breaths.

"Cass." Stanley said gently. I lifted my face from my hands, the boys were all looking at me seriously confused . This wasn't something they hadn't been expecting.

"Thank you." I said softly "thank you all,"

"Didn't have a choice," Gareth said honestly, looking confused and far from happy about it, "seems your our Alpha," I nodded and strode to the door, working hard to keep my feet to a walk. I opened the door and strode outside. The second the door snapped closed I sprinted across the car park pulling at my clothes as I broke into the small woodland alongside our motel. I ran and ran, feeling my muscles spasm and tear. I fell to the ground pulling my clothes off and throwing them aside as I dropped to the floor. I cried out as I collapsed to the floor, my limbs contorting painfully and my bones snapped noisily as my body began to realign into my wolf form. My hair fell in long soft clumps around me as fur began to sprout from my body. My limbs trembled and collapsed beneath me. I collapsed down into the earth breathing heavily, taking comfort in the sounds, scents and feel of the woods around me. This was my home. It soothed me it was where we both belonged. Eventually the pain subsided. I lay for a moment just savouring the scent around me, my ears flickering adapting to the sudden assault of sound. I pushed myself up to my feet. Trembling slightly as my legs settled, I stretched out savouring this form. I took a deep breath and my large dark wolf pounded into the trees.

The miles melted beneath my paws. I wished there were more miles. It was a small woodland but that didn't matter. It was trees nobody would find me out here so I could be myself. I ran. The simple act of running through the trees, the scent and sounds of the woods around me calming me better than anything else. The stress of the day, Noah , Aiden and everything didn't matter out here I just was. My paws skidded to a halt as I saw the immense black wolf emerge from amongst the trees. Oh s**t ! Aiden's lips were peeled back, exposing his large white teeth. I could hear the rumbling in his chest as he growled at me. I may have been able to convince the boys that I was their alpha but that was on them. It was something inside their wolf that listened to my command. Aiden, well he was something different. He was challenging me. I know I had got the boys to submit but Aiden wouldnt listen to me he wouldnt follow my commands and I knew just being Alpha didn't mean anything when it came to physical strength. Aiden is bigger and stronger. He could easily beat me in a physical altercation. He knew that as well as I did. Aiden growled loudly as I got to my feet tension clear in every inch of my form. Aiden circled around me. I followed his movements, mirroring him. I didn't have a clue what to do here. I could submit but Aiden was out to prove a point and me just submitting to him would do no good. No, I had humiliated him. All I had to hope was that he chose not to kill me . That was the final far from comforting thought that I held close as Aiden pounced across the space, his teeth sinking into my neck. I twisted, flinging loose the grip. He tumbled off nearly instantly regaining his footing as I scrambled back to my feet. Aiden snarled at me, his white teeth painted crimson with my blood. He was going to kill me.
