I hovered in that warm place between sleep and awake. I knew I had to wake up but I didn't want to here I was aware of how much pain I was in but it was still distant. I knew when I woke up properly I would truly feel it. I felt a slight movement beside me Noah was still there, laid alongside me stupidly. That thought made my heart pump wildly.
