Chapter 1: The Blood Moon’s Sin
The silver light of the Full Moon felt like a spotlight on my back—a silent judge of my betrayal.
I shouldn’t have crossed the border. The elders of the Sun-Claw Pack had warned us for generations about the Shadow Forest, claiming it was a graveyard for those foolish enough to seek freedom. But tonight, my wolf was restless, clawing at my soul with a hunger I didn't understand.
Then, the air changed.
It grew heavy, thick with the scent of crushed pines and something metallic... like blood and ancient rain. My breath hitched. Out of the darkness, a silhouette emerged. He wasn't just a man; he was a mountain of raw, untamed power.
"You're far from home, little wolf," his voice rasped, vibrating through the very ground beneath my feet.
I should have run. I should have screamed for the border patrols. But as his eyes locked onto mine, they weren't the golden hue of a wolf. They were a haunting, glowing violet.
A Hybrid.
The word echoed in my mind like a death sentence. He was the abomination the world feared—half-wolf, half-vampire.
"What are you?" I whispered, my voice trembling as he stepped into the moonlight. I saw the sharp flash of his fangs, longer and more lethal than any Alpha I had ever known.
He didn't answer with words. Instead, he moved with a speed that defied nature, appearing inches from my face. The heat radiating from his body was intoxicating. A jolt of lightning sparked through my veins as his skin brushed mine.
The Bond. It was impossible. A pure wolf and a cursed hybrid?
"I am your ruin, Elara," he murmured, his thumb tracing the line of my jaw. "And you... you are the mate I never wanted, but will never let go."

Three Months Later
I stared at the plastic stick in my hand, my vision blurring with hot tears. Two pink lines.
A sob escaped my throat, and I quickly covered my mouth to stay silent. My heart hammered against my ribs like a trapped bird.
I was pregnant.
I was carrying the child of the Shadow King. If the Alpha found out that a 'Rare' Omega like me was tainted by hybrid blood, they wouldn't just exile me. They would burn me alive to 'purify' the pack.
I looked at the dark forest through my window. I had to run. Tonight.
