Harper’s dad was furious beyond measure as he continued to bang on the door of her daughter’s bedroom. While his wife hadn’t stopped crying since they returned home after signing the papers, his rage was boiling inside him, threatening to erupt into a huge volcano.
“Honey, please… You need to calm down,” Madeline said, wiping her tears. She didn’t know what else to do if not try to calm her husband down. Everything was falling apart and it was all her fault.
