Long Journey

Thomas was just like any other kid around him that he knew if. Almost a month ago Thomas's mother sadly passed away and Thomas didn't handle that so well. He had to go live with his Aunt, Mary and he wasn't feeling like himself lately. Aunt Mary worried about him constantly and she didn't know what to do. His mother's death changed him and made him wonder about some things. It was like the minute he turned around she was gone just like that. It was bad to the point where he would come home crying from school every night because everyone at school was bullying him only because he didn't have a mother to love him anymore. One night Thomas had stayed up all night thinking about the last time he ever saw his mother and that was at the hospital where she told him to always take care of the rest of his family because you never know what could happen to them. Thomas couldn't do anything but cry at his mother's words because he was afraid of losing someone else in his life that he cared about so much. Also Thomas was an only child so he never technically had anyone to play with or go to the park with and that hurt Thomas to know that he will never be able to see or hear from his mom again. The kids at school judge him and bully him without knowing what he's been going through. You know what they say:"don't judge someone before you get to know them first." Those kids are very mean and they would kick him in the stomach and take his things and even call him names. Thomas got very injured one time and all the kids who were bullying him denied it when the nurse asked if they had done anything to Thomas. They all lied and just said that he tripped over someone's backpack. They knew if they had told the truth they would get in trouble or worse their parents might get called to let them know what they have been doing. The next morning Thomas had thrown up so much because he was in so much pain so Aunt Mary decided to take him to the ER. After they were done with x-rays they told his Aunt that he had a slight stomach bug that was causing him to throw up a lot but he was going to be alright and that he just needs to rest and take it easy on the meals that he eats.
