Under the big old Yew tree just past the old cemetery we sit, My Love and Myself. Sitting close, wrapped in his arms falling asleep listening to the beat of his heart. The sun setting in the west, hues of bright copper and crimson spreading across the sky as well as our faces. Curling his long blonde hair in my fingers, breathing him in. He smells amazing and I feel only contentment being in his arms. This is my safe place, the one place I know I am safe and loved. He stirs slightly and I open my eyes, looking up into his sweet somber face. I reach up to touch his face and as if he saw me he turns his face to kiss my hand, holding my hand to his face. This man is mine, My Mate. He calms the beast within me and keeps my mind present.
Opening his eyes, he smiled down at me holding me close and with a grip that told me I wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Then as if reading my mind he leans in and kisses me deep and passionately, his tongue lightly brushing my own. A soft moan escapes my lips as I give to every need. He is my only love in this life as well as the next for all eternity, this is not our first life together nor will it be our last. Those eyes, the dark blue with star bursts burning into my brain.
I wake up in my bed surrounded by soft squishy pillows the sun shining in on my face. My rotten little cat is sitting in the window, tail switching from side to side and holding open the curtain. I'm back in my bedroom, trying to remember what I saw. What did it mean and where was I and where can I find that man? His scent still lingering on my skin...
