Mario and Lars began their search for a gunsmith in earnest.
The sergeant had used his knowledge of firearms to sketch what he thought a gun that fired a golf ball would look like. Mario wasn't convinced he knew what he was doing but humoured him nonetheless. However, Lars familiarity with the gun-carrying underworld proved useful and together they mapped out a plan to smoke out possible candidates.
They decided to put a suitably worded ad in the gun trade journals in the German-speaking countries. Their first choice was south Germany and Austria.
