Monika Tiller booked into a hotel in Frankfurt – a nondescript establishment in the suburb of Sachsenhausen – to be close to Lisa's place of work. This part of the inner city was densely populated and offered ideal cover for her needs. Secret meetings were easier to arrange, and it would help her run to safety when the time came.
