Strange Abilities

I asked, “Do you really think that this is what is wrong with me?” She said, “Yes” Then asked, “Do you know how to use it?” I said, “Yes” as she was leaving the room. I looked at the box. It was a pregnancy test. I opened the box when I heard Ashton ask what was wrong with me from the other room.  The headmistress said, “Just give her a minute.” I took the cap off of the stick, and did what I had to do to take the test. I waited for three minutes. I was scared to look at the test, so I hollered for the headmistress to come back in.  When she got into the room I asked, “Will you please look at it for me?” She looked at the test, and smiled at me.  I looked at her, and asked, “Is it good or bad news?” She said, “Look for yourself.” I took the test from her still scared to find out the results. I looked down at the test, and started crying. She wrapped her arm around me.  I said, “This can’t be possible.” I looked at it again to make sure what I saw was real. The test read pregnant. We heard a knock on the door. Then we heard Alex’s dogs start barking, and growling. I picked myself up, and put myself back together to walk back downstairs. I snapped my fingers, and I was downstairs. Ashton looked at me worried because he could tell I was crying. He grabbed my arm, and let his hand travel down to my hand while his other hand brushed my cheek gently. He leaned in to kiss me when I pulled away he could tell that something was wrong. I turned around to open the door. I suddenly got a really bad feeling when I touched the doorknob. Ashton pulled me away instantly. I asked, “Why did you do that?” He said, “Because I can hear their thoughts, and they aren’t good.” As soon as he said that I heard one of the people outside say “send them out Reayne or we are coming in. We know they have powers. We saw two of them in the flower garden.” I knew instantly that he was talking about the day I walked to the back of the school, and manifested a car for Ashton and I to get home. Then I said, “Ashton help me get the kids, and move them upstairs.” Ashton said, “Okay.” I grabbed Leona and Shaine whilst telling Meayne and Shaeynia to follow me. Ashton ran up the stairs to tell Dominic, Alex, and the headmistress to tell them to mov into the parlor upstairs. I led the kids upstairs in a panicked manner, and I started to teleport them to my old house. It wasn’t the house that my mom lived in, it was the house that burned down in a fire when I was little.  First, I teleported Leona and Shaine. Then, Meayne and and the headmistress. After that, I teleported back to the house, and picked up Dominic and Alex. While telling Shaeynia to hold onto me. Now the only one left was Ashton. I teleported back just in time to see a bullet release from a gun, and shoot him in the hip. It was like the bullet released in slow motion. I dropped to the floor, and teleported him to a flower field that was filled with all sorts of flowers. I lay there crying, and trying to stop the blood. I pulled up his shirt to see that the bullet pierced his heart tattoo. He tried to make a joke out of it by saying hey I guess love is invincible too.  I chuckled in between tears, and rolled his shirt up to put it on the wound.  Ashton said, “Teleport to the store, and get a sewing kit, a pair of scissors, and a first aid kit.  I asked, “Why.” He said, “Because you are going to fix my broken heart.” Then, chuckled.  I said, “Okay.” and did just that. When I was at the store I frantically grabbed everything, and teleported out of there without even paying. I felt bad about it, but I felt worse about Ashton. Once I was back in the field I opened up everything, and tried to calm myself down.  Ashton said, “Breathe Karmon. I trust and love you.” I said, “Okay.” and exhaled calmly. He said, “Okay now take the tweezers from the first aid kit, and pull the bullet out. It isn’t that far enough to do any long term damage.” I said, “Okay.” and did that as he winced in pain. I said, “I am sorry.” and finished. I then asked, “What do I do now?” He said, “Clean up the wound using the first aid kit.” I did that, and tried not to make it bleed anymore than it already was. After I was done he said, “Now stitch me up.” I said, “But I don’t know how to sew.” He said, “You’ll figure it out.” I pushed the needle through his skin once as he winced in pain. Then a second time, a third, a fourth, and a fifth. I stopped for a moment to let him and I both catch our breath. I then sewed it to a finish. When the wound was completely closed I looped the needle through the whole, and tied it off. I cut the excess thread off. I grabbed a large band-aid out of the first aid kit, and put it on the stiches.   I looked at him, and said, “I fixed your broken heart.” He chuckled, and pulled me on top of him. I kissed him happily while laughing.  Then, I said, “Hey, this was like my nightmare I had a while back.” Then, he asked, “What is wrong with you Karmon?’ I sat up, and said quietly, “I am pregnant with your child Ashton.” He asked, “Are you serious?” I said, “Yes, Ashton. I am pregnant.” He grabbed my arm, and pulled me back on top of him. He kissed me happily. I giggled, and kissed him back. I was so happy that he was happy, and that he isn’t dead.  I said before I leaned back in to kiss him, “We have to go to the rest of our group.” He sat up which forced me to sit up, and said, “Okay, let’s go.” I teleported him to the group, and they all asked, “What took you so long?” I said, “Ashton got shot, and I had to stitch him back up.” Ashton, who was still holding my hand, said, “Ya, and she did a pretty good job.”  I blushed, and said, “I teleported us here because it is in California, and far enough away from the orphanage that nobody will disturb us.”  I said, “Maybe we can start a new life here.”  The headmistress said, “Good idea Karmon, and thank you for getting us out of there.” I said, “No problem.” She then said, “We are going to have to be more careful with our powers though if we want to stay here.” We all agreed strongly. ~TODAY~ We all gathered in the living room after a long day of finishing the new house. We finished moving in today. We all decided to relax in the living room after dinner. Dominic walks up to the TV stand, and puts in the movie `Gremlins”. We all giggle, and the headmistress looks at me, and nudges her head toward the kids. I know what she wants me to do. She wants me to tell them that I am pregnant. I grab Ashton’s hand, and look at him as if to ask him for his permission and help. He shakes his head yes, and slightly raises his voice telling the kids to listen to me.   I start to say, “I am.” Then, I stop.  Ashton says, “Karmon is pregnant.” All of the kids jump up, and say sporadically and happily, “Yay” They all got very rowdy and hyper. I giggled happily, and grabbed Ashton’s hand as tight as I could, pulled it close to my lips, and kissed it happily. At that moment I wanted nothing, and needed nothing. Ashton and I both tell the kids to settle down, and watch the movie. I turn to Ashton, and kiss him. At that moment I am happy. Ashton is happy. The kids are happy. However, the headmistress seems a little bit uncertain. I will ask tomorrow. It is another question and story for another time.
