At last I'm at level 50, who knew that I'll level up with an insane pace and it isn't even my second day here. Ofcourse there are minor inconveniences, but at least I still survived and my wound heals whenever I level up so that's pretty convenient for me. I should descent while I despawn my creature because I'll be checking every tent on this camp because I would like to know every basic thing this world has.

That settles it. I can't believe this camp was once very lively, now it's just corpses and blood all over. I almost forgot about that Julius guy, am I able to consume him? Looking at his impaled body, it seems that I can't use Gluttony on him. I guess he's just useless. Looking around, I noticed a huge tent just behind the roots I've summoned.
I searched inside the big tent that caught my attention, maybe this is used for military strategies considering there are a lot of maps here. There's a big table here with a large map big enough to cover the table's top layer. Nothing else is interesting here except a photograph of Sebastian's family, his wife and his daughter. Maybe Sebastian is from a noble family based on how well they have fancy clothes on and they look happy, but I decided to destroy that happiness.

As I gave the command, dark souls began to appear above the deceased knights as I got out the tent. I can hear them scream in agony as they approach me and I feel some kind of unrest as if I'm in hell torturing their poor souls. Suddenly, all the screams are gone moments later as I've successfully absorbed all of them.

This is beyond amazing, a black hole, I am able to conjure this kind of magic because of the souls I absorbed. What will happen if I keep on getting more souls? I guess that question will remain unanswered if I don't do something.
That reminds me, the stats of this sword is good. I should do some sword practice while I have nothing to do yet and I'll check up on the splinter that's infused with my mana that's attached to that acolyte. But for now, I'll just check this sword here.

Looking back at the mass homicide I've done, it seems using gluttony on the Seekers Eye proved useful in keeping the enemy at a low morale. If it weren't for their useless screeming earlier, I might get seriously troubled specially with their commander. Thinking about the battle earlier made me realize how weak I am right now and I cannot face Carthenon City yet. I must use every resource of this forest as my personal hunting ground and prepare for my upcoming invasion.
I remember something in my previous life, to make an invasion successful, one must acquire every intel and use it for my own advantage. So what I will do right now is infiltrate the city and gather as much information as possible before I proceed on destroying it. But it isn't an easy task for there are many unforeseen circumstances might occur so I must be prepared.
I guess the skill I acquired from consuming Sebastian will be of great help for me during my training.

A great forest indeed. It's large area is good for my training and it's complete with waterfalls, grasslands and a mountain in its center. But what's odd is that there are different color variations on the forest itself.

I see the outside part of the forest are generally greens while its center is red especially the mountain is colored dark red. So the mountain is my main objective for me to get stronger.

The map pans to a different location with a red dot in its center, It must be the acolyte. And the surrounding location is covered by houses, must be a village and it seems that they are still moving.

The map once again pans to a different location filled with large structures surrounded by a circular wall and on its center is somewhat eye catching. I cannot comprehend what it is but someone important might be residing there.

During the fight earlier, I noticed that can can't use any form of healing magic if they are wounded by the roots I've summoned. It's weird, it doesn't show that particular detail here on my skill window. I'm too tired to think about that kind of stuff, I'm thankful I have an advantage against mages.
I summoned my wings to get out of this place to find a suitable spot as my shelter as the rain begins to subside. I flap my wings to ascend to the sky while I search the area for a nearby cave.
Moments later, the sun sets as I'm still wasn't able to find shelter. at a distance, I noticed a cave system that is surrounded by thick trees but still enough for me to see it. I descend and fold my wings as I inspect the cave from the outside. But then I remember, I don't have any fire magic that I can use inside the cave to see in the dark and keep me warm. It might be troubling for me if I enter that cave and be attacked because I can't see well in the dark. I might need to find another location for me to rest if I don't find any creature that has fire affinity. Suddenly, I heard a loud rumble and I immediately followed its source and find a creature 9 meters and has a rock for a body with a core in its center. It seems it was thrown a a distance due to the fallen trees in front of it and it is standing up focusing on its enemy that's about to hunt him and I hid amongst the bushes.

Suddenly, a menacing creature came out of the trees where the Golem was thrown off. It has eyes that pierces its prey ready to swoop in anytime, wings that's attached to its arms and and sharp horns that can stab a human to death.

FIRE WYVERN

Finally, a creature I've been waiting for! Slowly but surely, the wyvern approaches the golem as it prepares to strike any moment. The golem, picks up the boulder on its side and throws it to its hunter but the wyvern quickly dodges and it pounces the golem slamming the ground. The wyvern opens up its mouth as it glows with an orange hue as it aims for the golem's core. A bright and hot fire melts the rock creature the longer it is exposed to fire. No wonder the wyvern looks like a dragon. Everything became dark except the bright stars illuminating the forest, the wyvern ate the golem's core as the golem itself crumbles and turns to nothing but a pile of rubble.
I came out of my hiding place to approach the wyvern and it was alerted of my hostile presence.

My left eye glows red in color as I focus my hostility on the wyvern hoping to scare it.

The creature is unaffected of my first attempt to weaken it and it looks like I might have to use my sword to practice my sword art and I won't rely on my magic instead.
I pulled out my sword in my inventory as I ready for the monster to attack.

I pointed the sword against the wyvern and it shows its fangs against me ready to strike.
I s***h the wyvern and it dodge my attack everytime I continually s***h it. I unfolded my wings and hovered above the wyvern to prepare for another s***h attack but as soon as I aim it's head, fire came out of it's mouth but I immediately dodged it. The Wyvern flew up to gain an advantage against me. I immediately followed the monster as I aim for it's neck while it's showing it's back against me. I refrained from aiming it's neck but instead stabbed its back and activated gluttony. Another dark matter emerged from my body to surround the wyvern until one moment later, the wyvern is gone.

With this, I can now go inside the cave and clear it. Let's see, how can I use fire magic?
Just imagine heat gathering in the palm of my hands. Now visualize a small k****e until it turns to a small fire. Now visualize fire as hot as the surface of the sun. I think that's it.
I didn't notice during my experiment that the nearby trees and small creatures were burned up.
Moments later, I've arrived at the cave earlier but now I have fire magic, I can now clear this place and make it as my own shelter. Now visualize a raging hot flame in my hand, hotter, hotter. I aimed my hand at the cave entrance and let out a flamethrower. Fire goes inside the cave as it decimates all creatures inside it and fire came out the other cave entrances like a burning furnace. After a while, I stopped my attack and it seems that the cave's interior has melted but due to the cave system's unique structure, cold air began to enter as it cools and hardens the rock formations.

It seems that the creatures residing this cave are all weak. I can now enter this cave and rest here for the night and have my energy replenished. As soon as I enter the cave I felt an intense pain in my head and fell on my knees and I see are a series of numbers.
