17 The next day was Saturday 20th October, the last day of the Naxos Literary Festival and the day when Helen was due to give the keynote lecture during the afternoon. For many of the Festival guests this was their last night on Naxos, including most of those staying at the Elias House. Ben was the exception, but this would be Day’s only chance to meet the others and ask his questions. There was no need to set off for the Bazeos Tower until late morning. Helen thought that the ideal way to prepare for her lecture was a trip out for coffee, and Day suggested somewhere with a view of the sea. “We could go to Vasilios’s place, but let’s drive to Agia Anna instead.
