Korg slunk back into the shadows of the large transport’s cargo area as it settled into the landing bay. Within a minute the main door was open and more than a dozen people had marched in and started unloading. Korg grabbed a box and followed them out. No one noticed they had gained an extra worker, and the pilot had been bribed enough to stay silent.
The landing bay was chaotic, with three other transports having landed at the same time. That made it easy for Korg to lose himself in the bustle and slip away from the bay once he’d dropped the box off. Those guarding the area were watching for people trying to leave with things which didn’t belong to them, not for stowaways leaving without a bag, so he went unchallenged.
