The thought of how much heat they must be dealing with to need that thickness of insulation made her shiver, and that made her smile. Shivering was something they were very unlikely to be doing much of for some time. The hatch closed smoothly, almost silently, where Kaira felt it should have shut with a booming clang. Her heart immediately sped up. There was nothing else to think about now other than what they were about to do.
