“Drag the body out the way,” Tarkus snapped. Dav at there, stunned and not reacting. After a couple of seconds Tarkus smacked him hard on the shoulder. “Come on!” shouted Tarkus. Dav gritted his teeth and leaned forward, helping Tarkus manhandle Sath’s body to Dav’s side of the pilot’s seat. The wounds were devastating, but not anything worse than he’d seen before when treating trauma victims. Touching a newly dead body didn’t worry him, but there was so little space it was a difficult task, not helped by the fact they were both coughing as more of the planet’s atmosphere found its way into the craft.
