I blinked at the unexpected sight in front of me, all my thoughts and feelings confused. Why did I suddenly have such an uneasy feeling? Especially with the way Marissa was staring at Adriano.
"Adriano!" She exclaimed, "how could you just disappear shortly after I told you I was pregnant with your child! And you didn't even pick up my calls when I tried contacting you."
