Once I had ensured Lucia had properly eaten, I allowed her to rest in her room and headed towards my office. Her pregnancy made her allergic to most foods so I had to be extra careful with her meals. She was also still as moody as before, if not much more, seizing every opportunity to lash out at me. Especially in the two days since she returned home from the clinic. It didn't bother me, though.
