"Our… baby? I asked Adriano, yet again wondering if I heard him wrong.
He nodded. “Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant?”
“How was I supposed to know that?” I lashed out. “It’s not like my cell was equipped with pregnancy tests.”
He flinched slightly at my words, but then quickly regained his composure. “Aren’t you usually supposed to know this by your menstruation cycle or something?”
I glanced away. "My menstruation is usually irregular and I can never keep track of it."
