"You're the one who did this to her." Ryan raged as soon as the doctor left. "You tortured her to the point that she almost died!"
I glared at him, but didn't comment further. He was right.
"When I went to see her, she actually said that she wanted to die!"
So she really did prefer death over being with me. I couldn't blame her.
Ryan went on with his tirade. "And the worse is that all along you were punishing her for something she never did! She never betrayed you or had an affair with Lucas."
"I've seen the proof myself." I replied tersely.
"It was surely fabricated!" He exclaimed. "No matter what kind of proof anyone will give, I won't believe it! Lucia isn't that kind of person."
