Chapter Two

She said, “Hello, young one. You must be Lizzy; I have heard a lot about you and how much you will be a wonderful leader one day. I know that there is a way for you know understand that not everything has to be way the world says it must be. I know that you will be a great leader when the time comes. You have more to you then you are willing to show. I know one day; you will be here to guide us though bad times and we will become stronger as a pack. “

I looked at her with respect. I knew she had a lot knowledge for her age. She is wonderful woman. She looked like she was more knowledgeable than the leader herself. Then I noticed that she had a pink ring around her grey pupil. The pink was very much noticeable against her dark eyes. The way she held herself was amazing. I wish I had that; I don’t feel comfortable around new people, but she seemed just fine with us being in her home. Kolter than walked and said, “Hi mom. I came to see before we all have dinner as a pack.”

I couldn’t believe that he was here, he flashed me a bright smile. He had dark brown straight hair and blue eyes with a yellow ring. He was super cute, there was no way that he couldn’t know who his biological mother was. He had this beauty like his mother that was indescribable; I couldn’t stop staring at him. He looked at with those brilliant blue eyes. I couldn’t stop staring even if I tried to. It was hard to not stare at his beauty. He bowed to me; I must have looked confused.

He said, “Hello, leader to be. What is your name?”

I said, “Lizzy.”

He gave me a smile of a lifetime. I almost blushed, he was so handsome. There was no way that he couldn’t know who his mother was. He turned to towards Aimee and said, “Mom, how have you been? I haven’t seen since last month. I was hoping to see my little sister and you sooner. I met a new wolf today that looked kind of like me. She had the same features as me and color of hair. I was wondering if you knew who she is.”

Aimee said, “I do know who she is. She is your sister, your twin. You guys are the same age. You were born first out of the two of you.”

Kolter gave her a weird look. He said, “Wait. What?”

She looked at him with sorrow and said, “You need to talk to your mother about that.”

He gave her a confused look, “You are my mother.”

She said, “I am not. Your biological mother is the leader of the pack.”

He started to cry for the fact that he didn’t know this information until now. He was crying until he had to go ask the leader for the truth. He looked at me and said, “Will you go with me to talk to the leader?”

I said, “I will go with you.”

He half-heartedly smiled at me. He walked away, I followed in pursuit. We walked to the leader’s house and walked in without knocking. Kolter was in that kind of mood where he didn’t care. The leader was sitting at the computer typing. Kolter waltzed up to Angel with body language that said tell me the truth.

Kolter said, “I want answers and I want them now.”

Angel looked up at from the computer and looked at Kolter. I could see that she just was having to tell him the truth. Dragontooth already knew the truth, she had taken care of her since she was a baby.

Angel said, “You want to know the truth. Here is the truth for you. You and Dragontooth are twins and I gave you up to Aimee because I couldn’t take care of after you turned two. You look so much like your father. I miss him daily and just looking at you makes me want to cry. I know that I should have done with a long time ago. I couldn’t bring myself to tell you. Your sister knows but I tried to keep it from you. I didn’t want you to change your path, you are so handsome just like your father. I only gave you up because I didn’t want you to think that I didn’t want you because how you are. You look too much like your father. You have the same smile and looks as him. You would have thought that I couldn’t look at you because I cried every time, I looked at you. I love you my son. I have your birth certificate if you want it. I don’t want you thinking I didn’t want you. Your father never will ever see you guys because he was killed by another pack. He was killed because we weren’t ready to have children. I found out two weeks later that I was pregnant. I went to the next meeting with the other packs and I told them that I pregnant and I was five months pregnant at the time they killed him. I was so far along with you guys and I never knew it. I thought I just getting fat. I didn’t know that I was pregnant. Your father always acted like I was pregnant.” Tears filled her eyes, “I miss your father. He knew that I was pregnant with you two and treated me like I was a princess. I didn’t understand until Aimee said I was pregnant with you two. I just want you to know I couldn’t save him. I was held back by the other pack members. He was fully died when they stop ripping into him, but I could tell there was no saving him. I miss him so much. His last words were please make sure that they will be protected. I thought he was talking about the pack, but I now know he was talking about you guys. My twins in my tummy, I could have told them that I was pregnant to save him, but I couldn’t lie just to save my mate. I now realize that I should have told them that I was because I really was. I am so sorry my son. I should have tried to save him. I was so afraid that I was going to be next. Aimee had walked up to the leader towards the end of him and whispered something in his ear. He had called off his pack members. I know that she had told him that I was pregnant with pups. The Alpha of the other pack had but his down and apologize to her.” She started to cry, “I was not able to save him from death. Aimee ran to him and tried to save him.” She was sobbing by now, “I couldn’t save him. I really love your father but now he is gone to the great wild.”

Kolter walked up to her and put his arms around her and said, “I understand Mom, I understand why you gave me up to Aimee and I would like to see a picture of him and my birth certificate.”

Angel nodded and walked to the back room and came out with a picture and his birth certificate.

Kolter looked at and said, “Aimee kept my birth name. My father’s name is Adonis.”

Angel said, “This is your father. He was a wonderful man and they had to kill him.”

Kolter took the picture from Angel and looked at it. He said, “I do look like my father. It is like I am his twin.”

Kolter handed me the picture. I could see that Adonis looked like Kolter. Kolter and Adonis looked just the same. They had the same looks and same smile just like Angel said that they did. I couldn’t believe that they looked so similar, but it made sense that they did. They are father and son.

Angel said, “You and your father have the same personality and it is so heart breaking. I wanted the best for you. I gave you up to Aimee for that reason only. I just wanted the best for you, and I knew I couldn’t do it for you. You grew up very well. I am so glad that you have chosen to be the next healer. You will suit that job very well. You need something that works for you. Be the healer will the best for you and I knew that Aimee would take care of you the way I couldn’t.”

Kolter said, “I understand why you chose to give me up to Aimee and not kept me. Does Dragontooth know that I am her brother?” Angel shook her head, “When are you going to tell her that I am her brother?”

When Kolter said that a girl with the same looks as Angel came out. The only thing that was not the same was their hair. The girl’s hair looked just like Kolter’s. I couldn’t believe that they didn’t know that they were siblings. They both were beautiful like their mother and father. The girl had the same beauty as Kolter, and they had the same look in their eyes.

She said, “Mom, why is there two people here that shouldn’t be here?”

Angel said, “This is your brother and the leader to be.”

Kolter said, “Hi, Dragontooth.”

Dragontooth said, “The f**k mom. Why am I the last one to know this shit.”

Angel said, “I was going to tell you when your brother knew the truth. You knew more than him and now you are bitching about how you didn’t know that he is your brother.”

Dragontooth said, “Yeah, Yeah. Whatever mom.” She turned to me and said, “You are who now?”

I said, “I am Lizzy.”

She reached for my hair and said, “Your hair is so bright red. Why don’t you change your hair?”

She looked into my brilliant green eyes and said, “Well never mind I see why. It matches your eyes and your complexion. “

I smiled at her and she smiled back. She had long k-9’s. They were very sharp looking too. There was this look in her eyes that told that she was a good person, but she was snobby. She had known she was the Alpha’s daughter. Kolter and her were nowhere alike each other. Kolter looked kind and sweet. She was snobby and she knew she was better than everyone else because she was the Alpha’s daughter.

She said, “You are going to be my roommate in the main hall with the other trainees. You will listen to me and not be stupid.”

I laughed at her and said, “You really think I am going to listen to you.”

She said, “Yeah because I am the Alpha’s daughter.”

I said, “Yeah and I am going to be Alpha so you can go to hell.”

I heard Kolter laugh. I knew he thought this was funny because she was trying to boss me around.

Kolter said, “Calm down you two. You don’t need get into a fight. Amy please calm down. She is going to be the new Alpha so you can calm down. She has more command than you.”

Amy gave him a dirty look and said, “Why the f**k does you got to say something?”

Kolter laughed and said, “Whatever Amy. I did it because you are talking about the going to be Alpha. You need to think before you talk. She isn’t like the other wolves. You can buzzy off. I am going to stand up for my alpha.”

Amy rolled her eyes. Angel said, “Go have dinner you three. Dinner is being served.”

Amy and Kolter left bricking like children. I stayed to talk to Angel. I need to know things about the pack.

I said, “What are we really? We aren’t werewolves.”

Angel said, “We are a bred of shapeshifters called Warwolves. We are part werewolf and warlock. We look like real wolves but larger. Also, you smell like s*x still. Why do you smell like s*x?”

I said, “Because Stan and I had s*x. It got heated between him and I. I am sorry that I did that. Don’t punish Stan for what had happen. It is my fault anyway. I encouraged it, I touched him and that was when we had sex.”

Angel said, “As long as you understand you can’t keep doing that. There is only one for you and you need not to have your way with other men. You will be alpha, and you can’t have your way with any man but your mate.”

I nodded and said, “I am sorry. I didn’t mean for it to happen. It was not Stan’s fault, just mine. I should have thought before I acted. I should have done something to stop it, but it was enjoyable.” I smiled at her.

Angel laughed and said, “Okay. I will just talk to Stan and make sure you guys don’t do it again. Just promise that you won’t do it again.”

I said, “Yes, Alpha. I promise not to do it again.”

Angel nodded and said, “Now run along and find Kolter and Amy before they rip each other’s heads off.”

I laugh and then I left to find Amy and Kolter. I found them in front of the dinner hall still bricking like children. I started to laugh when I heard Stan behind me. He said, “You told Angel didn’t you.”

I looked at him and said, “Yeah, I can’t lie to our alpha.”

Stan growled at me. He said, “You know that this will get me in trouble because we had s*x. Mentors and trainee are not to bred. I want you to be my mate, but I know you can’t be. I want you so bad again.” He pressed his groin to me, and I could feel his hard c**k against me, “See look what you do to me.”

I backed away from him. I knew that things couldn’t happen again. I could only be with one male. I knew he wasn’t it. I knew that I need to tell him that.

I said, “Yeah I know but it can’t happen anymore. It was a one-time thing. You can’t keep f*****g me because you feel like it.”

Stan growled again. Angel then called Stan to her side. He was willing to do so. I watched as he walked away with her. He gave me one last look of lust. I walked to Kolter and Amy. They were like children, I laughed. Both looked up over at me and said, “WHAT?”

I laughed again and said, “You guys are bricking like children.”

Kolter said, “Oh my god. We have always done since we were little. Why did I see until now that it all makes sense?”

Kolter then walked into the dining hall followed by both me and Amy. I could smell the yummy food, it made me realize that I was hungry. I couldn’t stop when Amy and Kolter went over to a table full of other people our age. I had to eat and eat soon, or I was going to eat the table. I walked up the counter and asked if I could have a plate of chicken, pork, beef and a little bit of vegetables. I saw a cook look up and rush to get me a plate. They served me and then the rest of the kids came up one by one to get food. I walked over to the table that had Kolter and Amy’s things. I sat down when I heard a growl. I looked up to see a girl with blonde hair showing her teeth at me.

She said, “Who the f**k does you think you are. This table is for new wolves only.”

I said, “I am new, today is my first day.”

She growled again when Amy came up and but her plate down next to mine and sat down. Kolter followed and sat on the other side of me. The girl growled again.

Amy said, “Will you just sit down and stop growling at the new girl. She is going to be alpha so sit your butt down.”

The girl looked surprised, she sat down. She said, “I am sorry you just don’t look like a new wolf. You look like you have been here awhile.”

I asked, “What is your name?”

She said, “Crowface.”

I asked, “What is your short name?”

She said, “Cameron.”

Another girl walked over and sat down with blue hair. She said, “I am Bluefur or Amber. Cameron is my roommate; she isn’t like this usually.”

I nodded. Two boys walked up holding hands and sat down. The boy with the blonde hair and green eyes with a blue ring said, “I am Seth or Riverheart. This is my boyfriend Steve or Riverside.” The other boy had dark brown hair with dark brown eyes like mud. His ring was blue. We all started to eat when a tall woman with orange hair and yellow eyes came up with a boy. The boy had dark curly hair from what I could see from the edges of his hat. He had silvery blue eyes and a forest green ring. He wore glasses that made him look kind of goofy.

The woman said, “So we have two new wolves today. I see that you guys all met Lizzy. This is Toby, he doesn’t have a long name yet, but he is tonight at the meeting.” She turned quickly and left Toby standing there with his plate of food. He sat down and everyone started to introduce themselves to him. When it came to be my turn, he said, “You must be Lizzy and I think you are so beautiful. Your red hair with those brilliant green eyes makes me want keep you as mine.” He laughed.

I only could nod and blush. Kolter said, “Come sit next to me and talk about video games.” Kolter gave me a look of understanding.

Toby smiled beautiful before going to sit next to Kolter. They started to talk about video games and what was their favorite one. I was kind of weirder out by the girl’s conversation about boys and shopping. I couldn’t just listen to Kolter’s and Toby’s conversation, so I had to listen to the girls. When we were done eating, I followed the girls to the dorm. I didn’t like how much the girls talked about boys. I walked into the room that Amy and I would be sharing. I fell asleep for a while. I was woken by Stan and Amy.

Stan said, “Come on, yet up it is time to go to the meeting. Everyone has to go so get up.”

I noticed that Stan no longer had lust in his eyes, but he smelled like p***y. I said, “I am up.”

Amy sighed and walked away. I looked at Stan and said, “You smell like pussy.”

He gave me the yeah and look. I laughed and said, “So you don’t want me anymore. That is good.”

Stan said, “Yeah, I am expecting a child from a woman. She is beautiful. She doesn’t know yet, but the alpha said that she is my mate and the things happen and now we are expecting.” He gave me a s**t grin. He knew that now he couldn’t bred me. He looked at me and said, “I was getting out of control and I am sorry for that.”

I nodded; I knew that this was for the best. We walked into the forest together, we shifted into wolves. I followed Stan very closely. I was in a hurry to find out who Stan’s mate was. When we came to a clearing filled with wolves. I was surprised to see Amy next to Stan in a hurry. She looked so happy. She bounced around Stan like there was no tomorrow. I knew that she was his mate. It was so cute knowing that she was going to have Stan’s baby. It made feel a little weird because she was my roommate for the time being. She would be my roommate until she found out that she was pregnant with his baby. I couldn’t believe that Angel would have her own daughter mate my mentor. It was kind of weird. I couldn’t believe my eyes. They sat down together as I wondered around looking for a spot to sit. Then I saw a group of wolves together in a group. The whole herd looked at Amy. Her fur was white as snow and she had to marks on her fur around her mouth that looked like teeth but were black. I wondered over to the group of wolves. One had blueish fur with an even more blue looking head. Another one was black like the shadow of the forest. It had a white crow on the right side of its head. The next one was a black wolf with a blueish river running down its side. Next to it was a smaller white wolf with a bluish heart over its heart. A little away from them was two wolves, one red with a black dragon. The other one was dirty blonde with a set of teeth marks on it left side of its head. I know who each of them is the first one is Amber, followed by Cameron. The next two are Steve and Seth. The last two are Kolter and Toby. I knew that I was going to go with the rest of the young wolves. I went and sat down by Kolter and Toby. Kolter looked at me with look of sadness. A black wolf with white spots under his eyes. I was trying to figure out who he was. I saw the leader in the center of the clearing. I was trying to listen to her but all I could think about was who this new wolf was. I heard Angel say, “Toby, Lizzy, and Alec please come to the center with me.” I saw the new wolf move smoothly towards the center with Toby and I in pursuit. I knew his name now. I started to think about what he would look like in human form. We reached the center of the group of wolves to sit next to the leader. Angel said that she was going to call the Greatwolf to make sure each of our names were right. I knew that mine had to be wrong, I didn’t feel it. Angel called the Greatwolf and a flash of light appeared before a large wolf that was see through came into view. I knew that he was going to change my name. The Greatwolf said Angel who is this first wolf next to you. Angel said this is Strongbite. He nodded and that looked to Alec and said who is this. Angel said Nightshadow. He nodded and stepped to me and said and her. Angel said Quickflame, I heard him laugh. He shook his head and said this is Firecheetah. I heard gasps in the crowd as the Greatwolf disappeared. I knew that was my name because it suited me the best. Angel didn’t even think about that name only the Greatwolf could. I was happy to know it was my name. Angel than said Littlehope get my book of foreseeing. Emma ran to Angel with a big book. Angel flipped through the pages until she found what she was looking for. Angel said the book says that a wolf named Firecheetah will be a great leader but there will trouble and death within the first few years. Firecheetah will be with Nightshadow until his untiming death. The is only one that will be there for her even when time is rough. I knew that there was already trouble. Toby stepped away from me and Alec. I knew that I had to say something to the pack but I was afraid that they were not going to listen so I said I will lead with greatness just like Angel if I can. I will help us through tough times and through the deaths that may happen. The pack bowed when I said this. Alec touched my side with his nose. I heard a growl from the group, but I didn’t know at the time who it was.

I moved back to the group with Alec following me. I knew that I was going to need strength for the things that were going to happen; the events where going to big and I knew that I need to be keep my head up. I knew that there was no stopping Alec’s death and I was willing to expect it now or I was going to get attached to him. The meeting continued with all of us showing off our skills that we have learned though our training. I really didn’t get much training, but I knew how to fight. I knew that I was going to beat Stan again. Angel said Riverheart and Twostep will start this. The group of wolves to around Seth and his mentor. Twostep was a grey wolf with only two legs; they were opposite of each other. It was like this Twostep shouldn’t be a mentor. He didn’t look like he could fight at all. I thought that Seth was going to win but his mentor beat him. It continued like that for a while. The wolves slowly moved to the center of the group until Alec and I were the last three. Angel called Alec and his mentor first, Alec’s mentors name was Hawkeye. Hawkeye was a golden wolf with yellow eyes; his fur on his back looked like little wings. I could understand why he was named that, he looked like a hawk. They fought and Alec was able to keep Hawkeye off. Alec looked like he was going to win when Hawkeye laid still, and Alec released his hold and Hawkeye did this trick and beat Alec. The next on was a black and white wolf with marking of a panda and his mentor. The panda looking one won against his mentor. He looked older than the rest of us. It was my turn next, Stan and I walked into the middle of the group and we fought. I beat Stan in like a few minutes. Angel than said Strongwolf give it a shot. A very large wolf with huge muscles walked up and attacked me. I fought as hard as I could against him and won magically. Then Angel said Wolfthroat your turn. I watched as Lance move up the two center and fight me. I lost against him; it was so hard to beat him. I had to give up, I couldn’t fighting anymore.

Angel than said I am going to call Riverhope. An elder said I think that she should change Firecheetah’s mentor. It would be for the best. Angel nodded, she called for Riverhope. A not so bright light flashed and a wolf with a river of hearts and symbols appeared. Angel said Riverhope, does Firecheetah’s mentors need to change. Riverhope shook her head. Riverhope said No, the only ones that need anything is Darkdragon and Mousehope names need to be change. Please move forward young ones. Kolter and a wolf with hearts and peace symbols in the shape of two mice. Riverhope said Darkdragon, you will be known as Darkhope. Riverhope turned to the other wolf and said Mousehope, you will be known as Mousedrag. Riverhope disappeared in a blink of an eye. Angel than turn to the pack and said Meeting is over.

The wolves moved around disappearing and moving back the houses. Amy moved quickly to me with a confused look on her face. Amy and I moved back to the dorms. When we got back, Amy shoot right into conversation with me.

She said, “I don’t know what got into me. I was all over him, mom only told me I had to have s*x with him to get his mind off of you. I agreed, he is my true mate. I am so confused on why he has to be my mate.”

I said, “How do you know he is your mate?”

She said, “The s*x was the best I ever had. I have never felt so good in my life. Every time our skin touch without having s*x, I could feel sparks. I didn’t know what to do.”

I said, “Okay, I am tired. Can we go to bed?”

She nodded and got up to turn the light off. I fell asleep shortly after that.
