Episode 7: Dreams Part 1

572 Words
**Yun’s POV** Drenched in sweat, I woke up again in the wee hours of the morning. This dream has been haunting me for months now. Call me insane, but it all started right after that last live session. I don’t want to call it a nightmare because it isn’t one. I won’t even call it a dream, it feels too real, too vivid. Sometimes, just thinking about it gives me goosebumps, not the scary kind, but a strange, electric thrill. She whispered in my ear again, soft and teasing, "You can't get me," then laughed and giggled, running away, leaving me restless and turned on. With every step she took, she kept looking back at me, as if daring me to follow, to catch her. I chased her through a vast forest, leaves crunching underfoot, shadows playing tricks on my eyes. But just as I was about to reach her, the forest disappeared. Suddenly, I was in a desert, how is that even possible? From lush green woods to endless sand. Looking back, the forest was gone. Ahead, the desert stretched into a shimmering sea. At the cliff’s edge, I saw something glisten on the shore below like a reflection calling my name. I started descending, heart pounding. When I finally reached her, she blew into sparkling pieces, vanishing before my eyes. And that’s when I woke up, realizing it was all a dream. Her face? A blur. But her voice calling my name? That I remember perfectly. I’ve been trying to make sense of it, but it’s not frightening. In fact, it feels… hopeful. At the same time, I want to know what it means who she is, where I’m supposed to find her. I’ve even been subconsciously searching for that fan’s user ID from my live session. Could she be the answer? I’ve been spending longer hours in my studio, writing down these strange feelings swirling inside me. But deep down, I know the girl in my dream might never be mine. And that thought? It hurts. Knowing this, I’m preparing myself, for the pain, the loss, the struggle. She has this aura, magnetic and fierce that even in a dream, just thinking about her makes the air around me heat up. Sometimes I wonder if she affects me this much just in dreams, how will it be in real life? The dreams come daily now. These vivid moments are pulling me closer to myself, making me want to be better, stronger. I’m grateful for that. Sometimes, I zone out, imagining her. What does she smell like? Her eyes—are they bright or soft? Her hair—long and flowing or short and wild? Her laugh—light and carefree or deep and warm? I realize now—the pull I’m feeling isn’t just from a dream. It’s from a person. My fated soulmate. And I know it won’t be easy making her mine. There will be struggles. There will be loss. But I’m ready to fight for her. *(Soft knock on the studio door)* Jan (poking his head in): “Yun-ah, you okay? You’ve been holed up here all night. Planning a comeback or writing a love letter?” Yun (smirking): “Maybe a bit of both, Jan hyung.” Jan: “Just don’t forget us little people when you’re a big romantic star.” Yun: “Never.” Jan laughs and leaves me alone with my thoughts.
