Episode 6: The Realisation

803 Words
**Mauve’s POV** A couple of months had passed since I discovered BitiBiti. I wasn’t crazy obsessed—just deeply and positively hooked. They made me feel important, made me realize my worth. Even without knowing me, they lifted me up when I felt low, that’s how much they care about their Bells. My music taste completely shifted. I started listening to KPop more and more, updating my playlist constantly with every hint of BitiBiti. My socials reflected it too my gallery was filled with more pictures of them than my own. One evening, after getting home from work, a notification popped up on my phone: "Min Yun has started LiveV." Thank God for Wi-Fi because their live sessions could go on forever, each member trying to break each others' records. I grabbed some snacks, hopped onto my bed, and opened the app to join. Gosh, he looked ethereal, with all the hair he’d grown recently. The comment section was flooded with marriage proposals, leaving him hardly any chance to speak. I laughed so hard, maybe blushed a bit too. I finally typed a simple comment, “Your hair looks good.” To my shock, he read it and replied, " Thank you" He actually read my damn comment. When he said thank you and flipped his hair, I felt like I was floating. Then, something odd happened. While reading my comment, he twitched and I twitched too. I thought it was funny, but then a strange numbness washed over me. Looking at Yun, I felt like he was experiencing the same thing, his blinking slowed, his body froze for a second. It was unsettling. I tried to shrug it off, crazy to think people could feel bonds through something like this, right? It can’t be real. But I couldn’t stop watching the live. I found myself drooling, completely mesmerized by Min Yun’s face. My heart pounded, my face turned red like a tomato. What was happening? I didn’t want to share this with anyone, my friends would just make fun of me. I wasn’t about to let anyone think I’d gone crazy. Since that Live session, I’ve been experiencing deja vu here and there. I started dreaming about him. I’d heard about fans having biases in their favorite bands, but I never considered Yun my bias—I admired all seven equally. But the feelings for Yun were different. It hurt, really hurt, because I had fallen for someone I couldn’t have, not even in my dreams. "Could I ever get the chance to meet him or BitiBiti in person?" I decided to let myself drown in these feelings and pray for his health and happiness. Because that’s what fans do, right? **Yun’s POV** I was sitting in my studio trying to write lyrics and record some beats casually. We hadn’t interacted much with Bells since the concert, so I decided to go Live. I adjusted the camera and lights, and soon I was live. The Bells began to join immediately. The numbers astonished me. I answered some questions and requests, but mostly, the comment section was full of marriage proposals. How was I supposed to reply to that? Jim (teasing in my head):“Yun, you’re the most proposed-to member. Better start planning the wedding!” I laughed silently. While scrolling through comments, one caught my eye: “Your hair looks good.” For some reason, that comment felt… strange. I thanked her. Suddenly, I twitched and felt numbness all over. I stared at the screen for a whole minute, confused and frozen. I didn’t understand what was happening. Confused, I pushed the thought to the back of my mind because I was live and had to keep going. I continued the live for about 20 to 30 minutes. Overall, it was fun, it’s always fun interacting with Bells. I talked about my hair, some future plans, and promises. They wished me good health and success. I love my fans, our fans. After the live session, I stayed in my studio for an hour trying to write some lyrics. But I couldn’t focus because of what had happened during the live. I kept thinking about it but shrugged it off as just some strange coincidence. My driver was waiting in the parking lot, so I quickly got to my car to head home. I needed to sleep early—important schedules awaited me tomorrow. When I got home, I took a quick hot shower, it always helped me relax. Feeling refreshed, I ate some tangerines. Then I played with my pup, Hailey, my cuddle buddy who always waits for me at home. I love him to bits. We laid on my bed for some time. I thought about what tomorrow would bring. Before I knew it, we were both fast asleep.
