Night had fallen, and the rain continued to drizzle, making the city's neon lights appear especially vibrant.Sebastianwalked down the street, feeling a chill under his umbrella. Despite the still-busy streets, the city at night was quieter, with a touch more tranquility. As he rounded a corner, he suddenly heard a commotion not far away.Sebastianstopped and looked in the direction of the noise, seeing a group of thuggish-looking men surrounding a young woman, harassing her. The woman looked very frightened and clearly had nowhere to escape. "Let go of me!" the woman struggled, her voice tinged with fear. Sebastian frowned and quickly walked over. He deftly avoided a few cars parked by the roadside and approached the thug leader harassing the woman. "Let her go,"Sebastiansaid coldly, his voice deep and powerful. The thug leader turned around, surprised to see a tall, imposing man. "Who the hell are you to meddle in our business?" he sneered. Sebastian didn't say much more. He quickly struck, precisely hitting the thug leader's vital points. The other thugs saw this and backed off, but they were soon taken down bySebastianone by one. The entire process took only a few seconds; Sebastian's movements were clean and efficient, without the slightest hesitation. The young woman stood there, still in shock, her eyes filled with gratitude and amazement as she looked at Sebastian. "Thank you. If it weren't for you, I really don't know what I would have done," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "It's alright. Come on, I'll take you to a safe place,"Sebastiansaid, motioning for her to follow him. They walked into a nearby coffee shop, where the warm light dispelled the cold outside.Sebastianordered a hot coffee for the woman and sat across from her, studying her carefully. She had long, black hair and wore a sharp business suit, looking very capable and intelligent. "Thank you, really. My name is Catherine, and I'm the CEO of this tech company," the woman introduced herself, her voice gradually steadying. "Sebastian,"Sebastiananswered briefly. Catherine looked at Sebastian, a hint of curiosity in her eyes. "Your skills earlier were impressive. You don't seem like an ordinary person." Sebastian smiled slightly, not directly answering her question. "Why were those men targeting you?" Catherine sighed. "My company has been developing a significant technology recently, which might have threatened some interests, so people have been causing trouble." Sebastian nodded, getting a sense of Catherine's background. "Do you need a bodyguard?" he asked bluntly. Catherine was taken aback, then smiled. "I've been considering it. If you're willing, I would be very happy to have you." Sebastian thought for a moment and nodded. "Alright, I accept your offer. But I have a few conditions." Catherine smiled even more brightly. "Of course, name them." "First, I need a comprehensive understanding of your company and its security measures. Second, I need the freedom to handle any emergencies without interference. Third, my identity must remain confidential." Catherine nodded seriously. "No problem, I completely agree to your conditions." They shook hands to seal the deal. Catherine looked at Sebastian, her eyes full of trust and expectation.Sebastianfelt that this might be a new beginning for him after retirement. Walking out of the coffee shop, the rain continued to fall, and the city looked particularly peaceful in the rain.Sebastianknew that from this moment on, his life would no longer be ordinary.
