On the third morning, Sebastian arrived at Catherine's company. The office building towered into the sky, its glass walls reflecting the morning sunlight. The fountain in front of the building sparkled in the sunlight, creating a peaceful and modern atmosphere. Inside the lobby, employees bustled about, and the entire company was filled with a sense of positivity and ambition. As Sebastian walked into the lobby, several receptionists greeted him with polite smiles.

"Welcome, Sebastian," Catherine greeted him at the entrance, smiling.

"Thank you," Sebastian responded with a smile, following Catherine into the building.

They took the elevator to the top floor and entered a spacious conference room. The room was simply and elegantly decorated, with several pieces of modern art on the walls and a few potted green plants around the long table, creating a tranquil and professional atmosphere. Catherine motioned for Sebastian to sit down and then opened a folder.

"This is the latest information about our company and the security details you need to know," she said, handing Sebastian a document.

Sebastian took the document and began to read carefully. It detailed the company's development history, core technologies, and recent threats. He discovered that the company was developing a revolutionary technology that could not only significantly improve production efficiency but also change the entire industry landscape. Because of this, the company had attracted the attention of many competitors.

"It seems your company has great potential, but it’s also fraught with danger," Sebastian mused.

Catherine nodded, a trace of worry in her eyes. "Yes, our technology has drawn a lot of attention. Recently, there have even been a few leaks within the company. Although we've tightened security measures, we still can't completely eliminate the threats."

"I will do my utmost to protect you and the company," Sebastian said firmly. "However, I need to conduct a thorough assessment of your security system and propose improvements."

"Of course, no problem," Catherine replied and then called for the company's head of security.

The head of security, a burly middle-aged man named Li Qiang, exchanged a few pleasantries with Sebastian before detailing the current security measures. Sebastian listened and took notes, occasionally asking professional questions, which Li Qiang answered one by one.

"Our current security system relies mainly on electronic surveillance and security patrols, but clearly, that's not enough," Li Qiang said. "Recently, we've added biometric technology, but the adversaries' methods are constantly evolving."

Sebastian nodded and, after a moment of thought, said, "I suggest adding proactive defense measures on top of the existing ones, such as establishing a rapid-response team, setting up more surveillance points and alarm systems around the company, and conducting more rigorous background checks on internal personnel to prevent insiders."

Catherine nodded frequently. " Sebastian 's suggestions make a lot of sense. We'll implement these improvements immediately."

After the meeting, Catherine took Sebastian on a tour of the company's various departments. The R&D center's employees were busy working, and the hum of machinery came from the labs. Sebastian walked through the offices, carefully observing every corner, constantly assessing potential security risks.

" Sebastian , this is our core R&D team. They are the heart of the company," Catherine said, pointing to a group of focused scientists.

"Ensuring their safety is crucial," Sebastian replied. "I'll develop a detailed security plan, including how to protect them in an emergency."

"Thank you, Sebastian ," Catherine said gratefully. "With you here, I feel much more at ease."

Sebastian smiled slightly, "It's my duty."

At lunchtime, Catherine invited Sebastian to lunch. They went to a high-end restaurant near the company, ordered a few exquisite dishes, and started chatting casually. As night fell, Sebastian stood on the top floor of the company's building, overlooking the entire city.
