We were at Isabella’s first prenatal ultrasound and Dr. Durbin started to furiously take measurements, Something appeared off. I don’t know how Bella knew as well, probably picking up on my own sudden tension, but all of a sudden, she asked, “What wrong, Dr. Durbin?”
She responded, “It seemed as if the embryo is implanted a little lower than we would like, but it does not mean anything right now, being so early in your pregnancy. We see that at times and as the baby grows, the placenta will shift upward, and self corrects.” Bella interjected.
“What happens if it doesn’t?” she apprehensively asked.
Dr Durbin responded, “It is something we will have to monitor closely as it puts you at higher risks to miscarry and primarily for a condition called Placenta Previa, when the
