I quickly wrapped up my Zoom call with the Los Angeles leadership team so that I could meet Bella at the hospital. Today was her ultrasound with Dr. Durbin. I must say I was a little bit taken aback when I got Bella’s text message today informing me about the baby’s ultrasound appointment, not that I didn’t know about it nor that I would have forgotten about it, regardless. I received the appointment reminder notification from Dr. Durbin’s office three days ago, probably as Bella still had me as her emergency contact person. I wasn’t sure if this was an oversight, and she just hadn’t gotten around to taking me off of her emergency contact list or did she still want me to be that for her.
