It’s been a few hours since my conversation with Bella, or should I say my argument with Bella. She didn’t much appreciate me questioning her about her feelings for Nicolai. Not that I was expecting her to admit them one way or the other. I couldn’t blame her for having gotten upset at the absurdity of a soon-to-be ex-husband in a current situation-ship to dare question the wife about her heart. I knew I could not keep straddling the fence. I either want to make it work, knowing damn good and well that it will be the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life, or I will need to do the right thing and let her go.
