After Ernesto told Angel who we are I can tell that she was not expecting that response. I know that she will come around and she just needed time to process what was told to her. I know that my son will be able to convince her to accept our protection. I do not doubt that whatever Angel’s response will be, it will stop him from protecting her either way. I can see the love that he has in his eyes for this tiny beautiful woman because it is the same look that I had in my own eyes when I protected Miriam. Both Miriam and I stepped out of the hotel room to give them both some time to talk it out and to also let her rest. She has been through such a traumatic ordeal and I know that my wife has her own struggles and I know that this brought out memories of her own past. I am so proud of my Queen and how she handled herself back there.
I know that Angel will be as strong as Miriam because I can see the fire and determination in her eyes. I am glad that those motherfuckers did not kill her spirit! While arriving at home I pulled up some of my connections and started making phone calls to find out who these pinche peros are and find out where they live and their family members as well. Miriam came up behind me and asked if I am okay and I looked at her and pulled her into my arms and I told her that I should be asking her this question. She said that she is okay and that she feels stronger now. She told me that she could not understand Angel and I asked her how so? She told me that when she took off her blouse to show Angel her scars on her back, she said that Angel kissed her scars and was hugging her and crying on her back. Miriam said that she was amazed at how strong this young woman is and she asked me if I could find information about her parents as well. I asked her why she wants to know about them, and Miriam told me what her parents did to her, and she said that she wants them taken out as well.
Miriam told me that Angel is going to be her future daughter-in-law and that she can’t wait. She said that she can tell that Ernesto is in love with her and that Angel feels something for Ernesto as well. I told her that I agree with her and that she would make a wonderful wife to our son. She is strong that is for sure! My phone began to ring, and I told Miriam to go and start packing our bags so that we could be ready to leave for Mexico. I looked at the phone and seen that Ernesto was calling and I picked up and asked if everything went okay and he said that they are ready to go and that she is okay with everything. I could hear the happiness in my son’s voice, he told me that she also accepted him in her life. I told him that I was happy for him and I told him to not rush her into anything right away because she is still fragile right now and to have patience. I told him that I have started looking into our connections and making phone calls. I am finding out all information on who they are and how far of reach they have. I told him that I am looking for all their family members as well as Angel’s parents that his mama wants them taken out as well. Ernesto laughed and said that he would have to talk to Angel about that because no matter what those are still her parents and I told him that she has the final say so then.
I told Ernesto that I would send some of the guards to go and ride with them so that they could bring Angel back safely with him. He said that he would wait there for them because he didn’t want to take any chances when it comes to her. I told him that he knows what needs to happen as far as Angel is concerned for her to get full protection. He told me that he knows this and has not yet told her about that. He would have to marry Angel before we take her to Mexico because protection applies to immediate family, husbands, wives and children. At least here, she will be protected because we have guards that secure the place 24/7. I hung up the phone after I talked with Ernesto and thought about Angel and what a wonderful addition she would make to La Familia (The Family).
