Aches saw Ahmose too and figured we needed some privacy, he planted a kiss on my forehead. “Let me have some things sorted out in my office,” he said. I knew that wasn’t the plan initially, he was just doing that to give myself and Ahmose time some time to ourselves.
“Okay,” I replied smiling sheepishly. And then my gaze followed him until he was out of the hallway, then I turned my attention to Ahmose. “Hey!”
