It was difficult to concentrate on the lunch before us. Miss Ray looked so adorable from across the table, her presence seems to add to the taste of the food in my mouth. I chewed my food.
“It’s delicious,” she said and gave me a heart-melting smile.
“Not as delicious as you,” I said. It took a good two minutes before she understood what I was talking about. She blushed.
“Aches!” she gasped, tilting to check if Ahmed and the two maids with us understood my jibe. “You can’t be serious right now, right here?” she blurted, holding in a laugh.
I laughed, before turning to Ahmed and the two maidens. “Leave us,” I commanded in Arabic, and then I looked at the beautiful woman seated opposite me at an orbicular table.
