Chapter 2 - His my Mate?!

* Katherine *

 When my body guard and I are half way home, I still can’t stop thinking about the wolf I saw cause it seems familiar.

 “Hey, uhm... Miste- never mind what should I call you?” I ask to the body guard that mom assigned,

 “Victor” he replied and I said 

 “Oh... anyway the wolf we just saw-“ I was talking but then. He cut me of with a bland reply, 

“Yes I did saw him” I sight,

 “He look awfully familiar and its irritating me, Its was like I saw him in some book I’ve red before...” he looked at me confused and says, “You don’t know him?” I’ve never been so confused in my life! at least not this much,

 “What? I mean you know him?” He’s eyes widened,

 “He’s the Prince of the south Xeno Cleversones, are you sure you don’t know him? He’s been in ‘ The Royals ‘, the book that you’ve been reading” I was shocked and I suddenly remembered,

 “He Is! Why is he here anyway and what-“ he cuts me off again just wow,

 “We’re here go in your highness, the Queen must be worried” he said, What the heck why is he being formal now? Did he come to his senses now?, Ugh I should stop being a inquisitive person. I walked to the castle until my mom suddenly jumped to me,

 “OH MY HOLY GODDESS!” I shouted in shock,

 “Princess Katherine Ellian Winterston! Manners my child” she said that so casually she know I hate it being called Princess, specially my WHOLE ENTIRE NAME and in the middle of the people! Aish... 

“Anyway sweety, the Prince of the North came and~ Invited us for his coronation!” She said it in a excited tone.

 “Okay... Should I should be excited?” I teased my mom a little then she looked at me weirdly.

 “Yes you should be” she says.

 “When is it?” I ask and she hesitated, wait... did she forgot?! 

 “The problem is... I think he forgot to tell when. Should we go to the North then? And ask personally?” She asked me, but is it really needed to go there? Hmm...

 “I think we should just send a messenger to the North” I told her but she seems like she have another idea, I feel suspicious. 

 “If we can’t go there how about you go there yourself. You like to adventure anyway and its a win-win right?” She looked at me.

 I think its quite good since I got to go different places but I don’t like traveling so far, specially from what happened to me before.

 - flashback - 

 Katherine When I was 18 years old. Mom and I are at the village with the guards at its too crowded so I decided to leave.

 “Mom, Im gonna go deeper to the village! Bye bye!” I said,

 “Katherine it’s dangerous! Come back here!” Mom shouted but too late.

 I ran deeper towards at the village and meet this huge man with a guard suit he told me to follow him and also told me that he was the guard mom assigned to guard me. After some time He and I are at this mysterious place and its pretty weird too, I started to think he was a bad person so I ran but he caught me I tried to fight him but injected me something and I passed out.

 I woke up at a cell with a silver collar and silver chains at my hand I feel so week my wolf is slowly fading I feel like dying every day. I think I’ve been here 9 days already... On the tenth day I saw light. Is the man here again? 

 “Please let me go” I said, 

 “Oh my god Katherine!, Guards! Over here take Katherine to the clinic at the castle now!” Mom shouted with a crying face hugging dad while I was carried to the clinic and passed out again.

 - End of flashback - 

 “Katherine! What do you think?” Mom told me with a higher tone.

 “ Oh! right sorry, Can I tell you my decision tomorrow morning I need to think about it more, but! If I would like to go I’ll also pack my things tonight, when will I leave anyway?” I told her in a serious tone.

 “You’ll leave tomorrow morning too so I’ll ask the maids to arrange your carriage, but please consider this a favor it would be a embarrassment if we don’t attend the coronation of the soon-to-be-king” she replied and she seemed very serious. I just nodded at her and walk to my room.

 I opened the door and turned on the light with lot going on my mind so I decided to go to my balcony and get some fresh air. I’ve been there for a while and decided that I’ll just go to the Kingdom at the North to avoid embarrassment to my kingdom and for my entertainment purposes also. I cleared my mind and packed my things not only clothes I also packed some of my jewelries and cologne then head to bed.

 At the morning I called Mitch to take my stuff to he carriage mom prepared and also prepare my breakfast. I take a bath then wear a fitted pink shirt, a white ripped jeans and a black boots since its going to be a long trip. I wear my perfume and my Sapphire Necklace and head back down for breakfast.  

“Katherine hurry up and eat your breakfast you should leave before the sun rises.

” Mom told me actually that feels like a demand. I hurried to eat my food. 

“Bye Dad!, Bye Mom!” And they waved so I just go to my carriage cause its gonna be a LoOoOooOong ride.

 * Xeno * 

 I got back to my Kingdom, one step at my castle father was already there waiting for me and by the looks of it he was gonna ask me how did it go inviting the other kingdoms for my coronation.

 ''So how did it go?'' dad asked me.

 ''Pretty good since they all accepted, and its kinda funny since south and east kingdoms have their Princes'' I told him. 

 “How about the North? Have you seen their Princess?, She’s in the books but apparently her wolf form is not there nor her face, quite a mystery isn’t. But her name is in there.” He looked at me with his fascinated reaction. How is it possible for a Princess’ face in a Kingdom is not revealed... she’s like a mystery for everyone except her name what’s her name anyway. 

 “Hey dad, what’s her name?” I said curiously when walking beside him into the castle. 

 “Her name is ‘Katherine Ellian Winterston’, her name is quite beautiful don’t you think?” He looked at me weirdly. Actually its very pretty... Its so Enchanting I mean.

“Dad Im gonna go to my bedroom, see you later” I said, he patted me in the back as his response. I hurried to my bedroom immediately.

 I opened the curtains then the window, I stepped into the bathroom then take a shower. After that I just got to my training clothes then head to the training area with the other pack members and train with them for a while. 

 * Katherine * 

 After that long ride were finally here. While walking. 

 ‘ Hey Kat’ Amelia said to me she’s my wolf, She is a very feisty wolf to be exact. 

‘Sup Lia’ I replied

 ‘Our birthday is coming up then we can finally sense our mate’ she said excitedly, 

‘Yeah... can’t wait to see him’ I replied, 

‘Why aren’t we allowed to sense our mate when 18 its suppose to be that way right?’ She said to me in a curious tone, 

‘Its probably because of me, I was born on a blue moon not only that blue moon on it’s BRIGHTEST which made me very unique’ I told her honestly, 

‘Your gonna turn 23 soon to be exact 1 week and 3 days more’ she just told me blandly but excitement in her which made me giggle.

 When we arrived in the gates of the kingdom my guard had given me a Aqua Blue faded with white hood with a cape on it, the back of it has tag of our logo in our flag that represents the North Kingdom which made me confused on why should we put hoodies the only difference in mine compared to others was color and design others have a black with a silver lace on the bottom then mine is Aqua Blue faded with white and a golden lace. I just wear it since my guard seemed very serious about it. We walked in then their gates opened wide. I was about to walk in but someone from my back told me 

“Your Highness please go back to your carriage and change into the dress your mom prepared don’t worry I will be guarding it while we go in” I recognize that voice when I looked it was Victor that surprised me but then since mom probably demanded him that I should just listen and do it.

 I got in and opened one of the cabinets inside and saw a glistening short silver dress with a fancy design yet so simple at the same time I wore it and it looks so gorgeous I was shocked when I looked at myself at the mirror, since I was curious I opened the other cabinets I saw a multiple dresses, under garments, jewelries and shoes! Practically made me think that this carriage is like a movable wardrobe, then Mom suddenly mind linked me. 

 ‘Sweety, I think you might stay there for just 1 week I planned it all since your father and I have a little some alone time and also some problems with the rogues and it takes a lot of time you know that. Its either you stay there or stay in your room for 1 week, sorry sweetheart!’ she told me with a weird tone of voice like out of breath in some sort... weird... anyway I replied 

‘Okay... but what should I say to the king? I mean like MOM THIS KINGDOM IS NOT A VACATION CASTLE FOR SOME SORT!’ I yell with anger in me, 

‘I already explained it to you why you should be there so I’m just gonna answer your first question, I’ve already ordered one of your guards to tell it personally to the king himself and its my request. So just enjoy your stay there for a while, okay no more buts its my command’ she says with a demand tone she barely use it so that means it’s important i have no choice but to listen so I just replied, ‘okay...’ 

 I wore some jewelries to match the dress and fix my make up I made it simple with a fading lip color and a maskara, eyeliner and fixed my hair with two sides connected and almost all of it down, I also wear the glass heels.

 And the guards called me, Its about time! I stepped out of the carriage with my hoodie on I saw people surrounding us I guess we have to walk there then I walked proudly but my hoodie covered my face but my hair on my shoulders are showing which made people look at me with surprised, until we are on the gate of the castle I saw the Maids with the same reaction as the others, one of my guards talk to them then eventually they let us in with the Alpha King and his Luna beside him smiling at me then I walked towards them but without taking of my hood their looked at me scanning me then eventually they welcomed me and ask me what is my purpose I curtsied and they bowed back,

 “I was here send by my mother to ask you or the Prince personally when exactly is his coronation because, Prince Xeno forgot to tell my Mother when” I told them in my calm voice when I was actually nervous.

 “I apologize for his behalf, its on August 14 to be exact it will happen in exactly 2 weeks from today.” He told me with a smile then the Queen suddenly talked and asked 

 “Oh my... anyway why should you put a hood Im sure you look beautiful darling!” I looked at her and said, “I can take it off if you would like...” She nodded so I’ve taken it off and she was shocked and looked mesmerized so as the king himself. I was smiling at them and they looked like they were mind linking to each other then they talked to me atlas. 

 “Your very beautiful... and your Eyes specially...” the Queen talked with still in shock. 

 “Okay when that’s done your guard had told me about your mother’s request so I’ve have prepared a room the maids will guide you there. Oh and Also Please feel free to take a walk around the castle to familiarize yourself as well” he told me so I just nodded and curtsied then left and follow the maid to my room the my guards delivered my stuff then leave me except Victor. I fixed my stuff to their places and it taken me a WHILE.

 I adventured the room then I have gone to the balcony it’s quite nice this room is beautifully designed I cleared my head and got some fresh air then when went back inside i saw a this weirdly patterned wall when I touched it Its been pushed the. The wall opened. Oh my god what is this!?, I peeked in to it then i saw a switch In pressed it and it light up I was curious on what is in there so I go down the stairs and ended up at the garden. 

‘It’s so beautiful...’ Lia talked to me and I replied

 ‘Yes it is...’ she screamed excitedly and said, 

‘LOOK OVER THERE A BLUE SWING! LETS GO THERE!!’ Oh my goodness Lia..

 I understand her excitement since she likes the color blue and she is a fond of swings if I say so myself I like those stuff too so I hurried to go to the swing then when I sat I’ve taken my hood of then swings. My hair flowing through the wind and I was enjoying myself with Lia I was smiling and giggling too! 

Then I saw him... Staring at me deeply with his Emerald Eyes that paired his Light brown hair a bit messy with his muscular body and handsome features... My heart beats so fast and I smiled at him as a response that I saw him. He sheepishly smiled back then moved closer to me he so tall! 

 “Hi Im Katherine Ellian Winterston, Nice to meet you” I said to him and smiled. But he just stared the he came back to his senses when he replied,

  “Oh, sorry, your beautiful... I uhh? My name is Xeno Cleversones...” He said in a panick. 

 “Oh your the Prince in here, sorry to bother-“ I said but he suddenly me and hugged me tightly that made me blush while he inhaled my scent but I smelled his’. Smell of Honey and Roses? What??? 

 ‘he smell so good’ Lia told me I was shocked by his sudden move when I looked at his eyes his looking in to mine deeply and their suddenly turning darker every second then he buried his face to my neck which made me Flinched then licked it... WHAT THE HELL! I pushed him but he won’t budge If I pushed him it just gets tighter! 

 “Let Me Go!” I yelped then I look to his eyes it turned Emerald Green again. Then he panicked and said “S-Sorry...” 

 “Why would you do that?” I asked him calmly. What. The. Heck. Why am I not mad? I don’t care anymore I wanna know his reply. 

 “Your my Mate” He told me and I was off guard I was shocked! Like what?! Is he? Really?? How? I got too much on my mind I was dumbfounded. So I asked 

 “Are you sure?” I was so confused so as Lia my wolf. 

 “Yes my mate.” He looked at my eyes then it turned quite dark and he shouted 

“MINE!” I was so shocked but not so sure at the same time.

 “How will you prove that?” I asked him again. “Well I can smell you from far away... and wanna- uh never mind” he told me and he mumbles something I didn’t hear. 

 “Uhh what?” I ask again oh well Im just gonna say it since Lia also wanted to say it. He just stared. 

“Okay uhh Im not sure so~ I can’t still believe you but.. in my birthday I’ll see...” I told him the truth because a part of me trust him and I don’t know why... 

 “How old are you any way?” He looked at me seriously this time. 

 “Im 22, you?” I looked at him. 

 “Im 25, you suppose to sense me if your 22 then” He looked confused this time.

 “Well... I was born on the Blue Moon at its Brightest... So part of that I guess” I told him confidently. 

“Well in your birthday... If you sensed me as your Mate you should be Mine, I don’t want anyone touching you.” He looked at me waiting for my reply. 

 “The I shall be yours... If! I really should be or your my Mate. Don’t be so possessive over me I have my own freedom” I replied and walked away but he grabbed me again then hugged me then looked at me and said- 

 * Xeno *

 I grabbed my Mate her scent makes my wolf crazy I can’t even control him anymore! I won’t let anybody touch whats mine or get whats MINE! Dillan my wolf agrees. 

 “Your MINE my one and only Mate...” I said that to her while she looks at me with her Icey Blue eyes, so mesmerizing... 

My wolf had taken over and kissed her soft lips passionately I can also feel the sparks when I touch her, then she kissed me back passionately as well makes me growl then she pushed back wears her hoodie when she ran out of breath then looked at me confused with flustered cheeks. She run to her room I think... Her tongue tastes sweet... I licked my lips, I don’t know how will I react or My wolf react when I can mark her... that body of her makes me even crazy.

 I looked to the swing then I pictured her there again enjoying. I smiled foolishly when I saw Kaylee my younger sister she’s younger in 5 minutes, she looked at me then she laughed and asked

 “What the heck are you thinking about!” She says to me while laughing.

 “I replied my Mate” confidently. 

“Ooh~ who’s this lucky girl?” She asked 

 “She’s not that lucky Im the lucky one here to have her.” I replied since we are close enough. “Yeah yeah. You didn’t answer my question ehem! Let me say it again 

'‘Who’s this lucky girl?” She asked again  

“Princess Katherine Ellian Winterston” she ghasp and shrieks. 

 “OH MY HOLY GODESS! SHE- SHE IS- SO PRETTY ISN’T SHE! YOUR SO LUCKY!!! SHE’S SO MYSTERIOUS AND MAGICAL THEN BEAUTIFUL AND NICE!!! WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED?!” She said excitedly my wolf is indeed proud that we have her I haven’t seen her wolf but I am quite sure she’s Gorgeous... 

 “Lets just go inside the sun is already setting” I replied as we go back inside she’s still freaking out tho.

 * Katherine *

 I ran to my room my heart racing too fast I can’t believe I kissed him back not even sure he’s my MATE and THAT WAS MY 1ST KISS! Lia was purring in joy too when he kissed me! I called Lia immediately to talk to her when I laid my whole body to the bed. 

 ‘Lia what do you think?!’ 

 ‘I-I don’t know... I just acted out!’ She said freaking out. 

‘Me too! What should I do?!’ 

‘I don’t Know Either!’ She screams a bit panicking like me. 

‘Is he really our mate?! Your my wolf you should feel it!’ I asked her 

‘You can feel it too! Not only me!’

 Me and Lia Fighting in my mind and asking so many questions. After a while a hour or so, I decided to go to the bathroom take a wash wear my night gown then hanged my hoodie at a stand beside the bath robe, then balcony for fresh air then I sleep it off same goes for Lia.
