Abeni changed out of the nightgown into a less revealing and thicker nightgown when one of Dmitry's men came to inform her that dinner was ready. When she got to the dining room, Olga, Natalia, and Dmitry were already seated.
As Dmitry's gaze fell upon Abeni, she became embarrassed, remembering their last heated interaction. She put her head down and went to take the seat next to him.
As she sat down, staff rushed in and placed the food on the table.
"So Abeni" started Natalia, teasingly. "I heard you were spending some quality time with Dmitry earlier. Did he show you a good time in your room?"
Abeni felt her cheeks flush as she looked at Dmitry. "It's not like that..." she muttered, trying to play it cool.
Dmitry's gaze lingered on her face, and she could feel the heat of it burning
