Trapped in Web

I must be covered; after all, I'm a girl. Well covered, I suppose, especially on Sunday mornings. We usually set out early, around 6.30am, I suppose. For, we are the Clergy. Our Dad a pastor, not by choice but I think he grew to meet his own parents in same line. You see, a long lineage of the Clergy. It's a serious routine and we are use to such... The do's and don't, so listless.. Though we are enslaved to them, somehow they are normal to us now. My name is Windy and we are all daughters! Four daughters to the family of a Priest. We must be role models. Silly behaviors are not tolerated because we are Clergy. Our home, a quite one, no sound of music, except it's gospel. Parties are taboos not even a Holy birthday day. As the first Child and first daughter too, so much is expected from me. I'm suppose to be a role model to my siblings. I'm supposed to take the lead role in teenagers Church.... Oh! the count goes on.... Needless to say, my life is all written and arranged in chapters and I must follow through without missing lines. I wish they knew me so well. So many questions but who do I ask? So many puzzles, but who will solve them? Not even my mother life is modeled. 'Mama' - as he is often called in church; even those who senior her with ten years gives her such accolade for being a Pastor's wife. And you see, she is so consumed by religious activities, we hardly see her at home. Today she is in prayer meeting, tomorrow on the Mout Chilo.. So, I'm left alone to seek answers to the things that borders me. All thanks to the internet. I wanted more than my programmed life, I'm a happy girl, who loves adventure. I can dance well. I mix easily with peers at school. I am more happy at school than at home because I'm allowed to express myself. I am trapped in the web of Religion
