Alejandro stepped out of his shiny black truck and straightened his jacket and tie. His sharp eyes scanned the exterior of Girls, Girls, Girls for any anomalies. As a detective, the habit was as ingrained as the ability to chew gum and walk. The dilapidated strip club that looked like a health hazard was in one of the seediest parts of town and only attracted jaded locals, thrill-seekers, and those willing to travel to hide their debaucheries from their families. The shoddy inside of the strip club was only slightly better than the outside because the darkened interior and glittering balls and spotlights obscured some of the poverty, but Alejandro knew that the strip club was just a front for a million-dollar money-laundering operation that was in the business of trafficking women.
