Isabella, an elite special forces soldier, met an untimely death, only to be reborn as a helpless infant—Valentina of the Stellarium Family. Life was peaceful for a few years, until tragedy struck, and her entire family was wiped out.

From then on, Valentina embarked on a journey of growth and discovery, determined to uncover the truth.

A delicate, innocent white lotus? A hidden predator in disguise? She could play any role she needed to!

But what was this situation?

Why did others summon majestic creatures like the Six-Eyed Divine Eagle or the Tri-Horned Spirit Deer, while she ended up with a tiny wolf that did nothing but whimper? Was this some kind of karmic joke?!

And then, one day, she woke up to find a man lying beside her.

“You’re saying… you’re the little wolf?”

Really? She didn’t believe it!

An Unexpected Encounter
"Spirit Cat, I order you to return to the team immediately!" Bang— "Valentina, run! Live well!" "Ah—" Valentina jolted awake, sweat pouring down her face, as blood seemed to flood her vision, and faint cries echoed in her ears. Once again, she found herself reliving the events of a year ago during her training. Rubbing her aching forehead, Valentina allowed the memories to flash by like a movie. Her original name was Isabella. She was a member of the secret forces in H country on Blue Star. After a bombing, she inexplicably reincarnated into the body of Valentina, a young lady of the Stellarium Family in the Eastern Dustless Province. Her new family was peaceful and loving, with her parents and siblings living harmoniously. The Stellarium Family was one of the three major families in the Eastern Dustless Province, along with the Aurora Family and Crimson Peak Family, maintaining a balance of power. Her older brother dotes on her and often takes her in disguise to explore the edges of ancient battlefields for training. Valentina didn't disappoint, quietly breaking through to the fourth tier at just thirteen. To protect her from jealousy, her brother found a hidden artifact in the ruins, a handkerchief called "Fragrance Drunk," said to be a relic of the ancient goddess Yang Wan. It’s known that the eldest son of the Su Family, ranked first on the continent's genius list, only reached the fourth tier at fifteen. Then came the blood-soaked night when her family was wiped out. On that night, just like any other ordinary day, she returned home dressed as a young man, only to find the gates of the Stellarium Family open, corpses everywhere, and her mother lying in a pool of blood. Her father and brother were nowhere to be found. Her mother, pierced by a heavy sword, managed to gasp out her last breath and handed Valentina a golden key, telling her to go to Star Academy. The key disappeared as soon as it touched her. Valentina’s eyelashes trembled slightly, her sharp phoenix eyes glowing with determination. She would find the truth behind her mother’s death, and she wouldn’t stop until she found her father and brother. "Valentina, what's wrong? Did you have a nightmare?" Amanda, her roommate, sat up and rubbed her eyes. Star Academy was located in the central city of Fengze in the Qi Ling Province of the Continent. The academy was large, covering nearly half of the city, excluding the back mountain. The academy was strictly hierarchical, with strength being the most important factor. After hiding her true power, Valentina revealed only her fourth-tier abilities, so she lived in a two-person dorm. Thankfully, Amanda was carefree and friendly, and they got along well. Valentina snapped out of her thoughts and teased, "I finished my training and was admiring the night view outside. I was about to call you, but you fell asleep while training?" Amanda pouted, frustrated, "It’s not on purpose, I always get sleepy when I train at night..." She leaned closer to Valentina and pointed towards the window. "Wow, the stars tonight are beautiful... huh? What’s that?" Valentina followed her gaze and saw a silver-white flash of lightning strike near the back mountain of the academy. Strangely, this lightning didn’t disappear like usual. Instead, it stood upright in the sky like a pillar of light, fading away after a few moments. "I’m going to check it out. If I’m not back by dawn, help me ask the teachers for leave!" Valentina said, and in the next moment, she shot out of the window like an arrow. "...Why is it that everyone is at the fourth tier, but Valentina is so much faster than me!" Amanda marveled, propping her chin on her hands. "Wait a second! The back mountain is a forbidden area!" Suddenly realizing this, Amanda stopped looking at the night view and began pacing nervously in the dorm. If Valentina were found in the forbidden area, she could be expelled from the academy. She really hoped Valentina would be careful! After leaving Amanda’s sight, Valentina lightly pressed her foot to the ground and soared into the air, moving as swiftly as a swallow, heading straight for the lightning’s location. The Stellarium Family’s unique skill, Sky Swallow, allowed her to move with incredible speed even before reaching the peak of her powers The dorm wasn’t far from the back mountain, and by the time she arrived, she didn’t sense anyone else nearby. "Is this the place?" Valentina looked at the deep crater left by the lightning and saw a small silver-white wolf. The wolf was about two arms long, with a slightly darker lightning mark on its forehead. Its fur was fluffy, its limbs strong, and its sky-blue eyes shimmered like the finest sapphires. It was glaring at her with caution. "This is the forbidden area near Star Academy’s back mountain. You caused quite a commotion just now. If you don’t want to be discovered, follow me and I’ll get you out of here," Valentina said, taking out Yi Fang Zui to conceal both their presences. As expected, the artifact worked well, hiding both their auras. Two figures passed through the teaching area unnoticed. "I can only take you this far. Over there is the teaching area, and there’s a small grove on the other side. You can hide there for a day or two, until things settle down," Valentina said, pointing in both directions. With a smile, she looked at the wolf, her eyes gleaming. "You’re a Silver Wing Wolf, right? If you follow me, you won’t have to hide anymore." The wolf glanced at her with a look that clearly said, "In your dreams!" before turning and dashing into the grove. Valentina shrugged and sighed, "What a pity." She was fond of the little wolf they had unexpectedly met, but this situation didn’t surprise her. Silver Wing Wolves were intelligent but proud and solitary by nature. Their young were often sought after but refused to submit to humans, frequently dying before reaching adulthood. The little wolf was clearly still young. "Well, I wonder if being so proud will help it survive and grow," Valentina muttered. Before anyone could notice her, Valentina leapt into the air, disappearing in a few flashes. In the dense trees of the grove, a pair of sky-blue eyes vigilantly watched her retreating figure. This woman… actually let him go?!
