Chapter 4

"Welcome to the TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS!!!!!" the announcer shouted in a ball of gold aura that hovered in front of him whilst projecting his voice around the Colosseum as everyone in it started shouting and cheering. "This is a risky plan" Aisha, who was now wearing Rose's clothes and used the hood of the cloak to cover her face, said to Eve as they sat down amongst the crowd."When Rose decides something it's hard to change her mind, even if it's dangerous"Eve told her. "Now lets bring in our combatants" the announcer said as a blinding light covered the arena and when it was gone there stood several people including Rose who was now wearing Aisha's armour and covered her face with its helmet. "The rules are simple, the combatants have to fight each other until their opponent is either unfit to continue or,if they choose, killed until only one shall remain to take on the undefeated champion, PRINCE THEO!!!!" the announcer shouted as a man,with yellow eyes and blond hair who was wearing a gold heavy armour, stood from where he was sitting next to the King and Queen on a section of the Colosseum and raised his hand as the crowd cheered louder. "Combatants, are you READY!!!!!?" the announcer shouted as different coloured auras started emitting from some of them. "Let the tournament, BEGIN!!!!!" he announced and they started attacking each other. Rose took out most of the ones that attacked her using her aura to increase her speed and strength." What if someone notices it's her?" Aisha asked as they watched. "It's too late for that so let's just hope they don't" Eve replied focusing on the tournament. Rose was just about to attack another person when someone shot shards at her which she quickly dodged. The person who shot the shards continued shooting but she parried them with her sword as she walked towards him before punching him away into other fighters. "Forgot how much fun this was" she said excited but then when she tried to move she couldn't. She looked down to see ice on her legs as a woman froze the ground around her. "Cute" Rose said as her eyes glowed brighter and she jumped into the air breaking the ice on her legs and landed behind the woman. The woman made an ice spike appear in her hand to try to stab Rose but Rose dodged and shoved her head hard into the ground. "Whose next?" she said looking around but suddenly an arrow covered in green aura flew into her shoulder. "Mother.....fucker!!!!" she said pulling out the bloody arrow that stopped glowing and looked behind her to see a man with green short hair and green glowing eyes who was wearing leather clothing taking out an arrow from his quiver and aimed it at her with his long bow. She felt the ground beneath her shake and dropped the arrow whilst quickly jumping up dodging the spikes that appeared under her. She landed down softly and also saw the archer dodging spikes that appeared from the ground. "I guess it's only us left" they heard someone say and looked forward to see a man sitting on the ground surrounded by sand like aura emitting from him. "Can you believe it folks only three people remain" the announcer said with the dead and unconscious combatants disappearing from the arena."That guy with the sand like aura took out most of fighters" Aisha told Eve as they watched. "Rose better be careful around him" Eve said watching Rose and the last two look at each other. "So whose gonna go first?"the archer asked both Rose and the man. "Him I don't care about but you f*****g shot me" she said pointing at her wound." Stop whinnying like a little b***h this is a "fighting" tournament remember" he told her and her eyes glowed brighter. "What the f**k did you just call me!!?" she asked angrily before spikes came out underneath them both but they jumped up to dodge them."Aren't you forgetting about someone?" the man asked as parts of the ground flew up and went straight towards them. Rose cut them using her sword whilst the archer shot at them making them break apart before they reached him but then he started shooting at Rose in mid air. "What the f**k!?" Rose said blocking the arrows with her sword. "I thought we were focusing on him for now" she told him when they landed on the ground but had to quickly jump again as more spikes emerged. "Fine" he reluctantly agreed as he shot arrows he covered in green aura at the man who shielded himself using more parts of ground before shooting thrm towards him. Rose tried attacking him whilst he focused on the archer but he raised his other hand and pushed her away using another part of the ground. "This guy is a pain the ass" Rose said as they continued jumping spikes and breaking the parts of the ground thrown at them. "No you people are" the man said as more aura surrounded him and he made a large part of the ground form a ball around them which started squeezing them. "Come on Rose" Aisha said as she and Eve watched a bit afraid as the ball continued to contract. Suddenly the ball burst apart with the crowd being protected by an invisible barrier surrounding the arena. "Get ready" Rose said emerging with the archer who nodded readying a shot with his arrow collecting more of his aura. "You think I'll allow you to continue" the man said as the parts of the ball from earlier started flying towards them. Rose's eyes glowed much brighter with a bit of aura emitting from them as she protected the archer using astounding speed whilst they jumped around avoiding the spikes from the ground. "Now!!!" the archer shouted as his eyes glowed brighter and he released the arrow which flew towards the man whilst covered by a large amount of aura. The man looked at it shocked and quickly made a large part of the ground come up to protect him but it was hopeless as the arrow easily destroyed the part of the ground and went through his head making it explode. Rose and the archer breath heavily whilst dropping to the ground as the parts of the ground that were still floating crashed down including the man's headless body. "Now it's just you and me" Rose said slowly standing up but she saw him looking at her strangely as he also stood. "You're her aren't you?" he asked and she tilted her head confused. "The demon" he told her and she hesitated. "We gonna have a problem?" she asked with her eyes glowing again and they looked at each other for a while before he shrugged and fell to the ground. "That attack uses a lot out of my aura so I'm done" he told her as he sat down. "I forfeit!!!" he shouted and Rose watched him surprised as he disappeared."We have ourselves a WINNER!!!!" the announcer shouted as the crowd cheered loudly. "Finally!!!!" they heard someone shout and saw prince Theo dropping down from where he was sitting and crashing onto the ground. "I look forward to our battle tomorrow" he told her after walking and standing in front of her. "May I ask to see the face of my opponent?"he asked and she looked at him. "Only if you can defeat me tomorrow that is" she replied and he laughed. "So it's a promise"he said shaking her hand as she grinned......

"That arrow really did some damage" Eve told Rose whilst healing her wound from the archer as they stayed in an inn in the city. "We're fortunate that old guy gave us money in these bags" Aisha said changing into the silver and red light armoured clothing she found in the bag she was given by him. "And how did he know my size?" she asked them examining her clothing that fit perfectly on her. "No idea" Rose said standing after Eve had finished healing the wound until it was only a scar. "I feel so violated" Aisha said shivering."So he knows who you are, the archer I mean?" Eve asked her as she watched Rose put on her shirt."I had to use a lot of aura to escape us almost getting crushed so I think he recognized it from there" she replied sitting on one of the two bed's in the room. Suddenly they heard someone knocking on their door. "Who can that be this late at night?" Aisha asked them as she walked and opened the door a little to check who it was. She then opened the door completely revealing it was the archer from the competition. "What do you want?" Rose asked quickly standing up. "I don't mean any harm ok" he told her and Rose looked and examined him for a while. "Come in" she reluctantly said with him nodding and walking in before Aisha closed the door. "So what did you come here for?" Eve asked him as Aisha pointed at the chair for him to seat. "My name is Arthur,I come from a village that's know for it's connection with the guardian who protects the worlds, I'm pretty sure you've already met him in his human form"he told them. "You mean that old guy we saw was this so called guardian?" Aisha asked. "Yes, a few days ago he summoned me to tell me to participate in a tournament and look for the one they call a demon, the one with the red aura for whom I should follow until the task is complete" he replied and looked at Rose. "I don't know why he wants me to come along with you but we obey his command whenever he gives it" he told Rose who examined him. "So, he told you about who we're up against and what we're after?" she asked and she saw him clench his fists. "Elina, was, one of us back then but she must be dealt with for the pain and destruction she has brought upon on this world and others" he told her and she saw the anger in his eyes. "Allow me to help you rectify the mistake my people made for not dealing with her sooner"

"We'll see you tomorrow then".........

"It's time for the final fight to BEGIN!!!" the announcer shouted the next day with the crowd cheering. "How powerful do you think his sword is?' Aisha asked both Eve and Arthur as they sat together in the crowd. "It's part of the key used to seal Elina's heart so it's pretty powerful" Arthur told her as they watched both Rose and Theo appearing in the arena."Still hiding your face I see" Theo said smiling at Rose who took out her sword and stood in a battle position with her eyes glowing. "Straight to business" Theo said taking out the sword that had the symbol glowing on its side. "I like that"

"May the battle, BEGIN!!!!" the announcer shouted and Theo's eyes started glowing as he rushed up to Rose and started attacking her. She only managed to block the attacks but they were forcing her to move back with his strikes being too powerful. Rose's eyes glowed brighter and she parried his last attack and started her own attacks. "Impressive" he said easily dodging but then the sword's symbol glew brighter and he parried Rose so hard that it blew her away. "s**t" she said managing to not fall but Theo didn't give her time to rest as he continued going after her. She tried her best to block and dodge but he was able to damage her a bit before she jumped back and he frowned before stopping. "This is so boring" he said confusing everyone in the Colosseum. "I know who you are you know" he told her pointing with his sword at her helmet. "Commander Rose of The Order, the demon"

Everyone in the crowd looked at Rose surprised and some started talking amongst themselves."So why don't you stop holding back and give me a real fight" he said and she sighed and removed her helmet. "If you say so" she said dropping the sword and the helmet as her eyes glowed brighter whilst emitting red aura which also appeared around her hands. "Let's go" he said as she appeared in front of him and started attacking him fast. He managed to block the attacks but the final one landed on him and threw him hard into the side of the arena. "Yes!!!" he shouted as his whole armour emitted golden aura coming from the sword that glowed brighter. "Now this is a fight" he said rushing towards Rose and attacking her ferociously and faster than he had done before. "Damn it" Rose said as she could no longer keep up with Theo as he was able to damage her before he grabbed her and smashed her into the ground. When he tried to stab her she made him fall by kicking his leg and elbowed him hard on the ground creating a small crater. He pushed her off making her fly away but she landed safely on the ground. He woke up and touched the part of his armour that had cracked because of the attack. "How about we just end it now" Rose said as her whole body burst out a huge amount of red aura. "Fine by me" he said smiling as the symbol on his sword glowed brighter and his body burst out a huge amount of gold aura. "This doesn't look good" Aisha said as she watched both of them scream as they charged to each other and when they collided it mad a huge explosion of aura that broke the barrier protecting the crowds making them feel the extent of power coming from the clash. It took a while for the light of the clash to go away and the crowd looked anxiously at the arena which was still covered in dust. When it settled they saw both Rose and Theo standing opposite of each other. "Well played" Levi said as he dropped to the ground and Rose dropped onto one knee whilst panting.""Incredible, the winner is, THE DEMON ROSE!!!!" the announcer shouted but no one cheered as they all just looked at her. "Sounded like he was calling me some type of flower" Rose said sarcastically whilst slowly standing. Suddenly something came crashing into the ground blowing both her and Theo away. "The last time something like that happened next to me it didn't end well" she said looking as the dust settled revealing Edwin who now had horns and wings. Rose felt a chill as anger rose inside of her with the people in the stadium starting to run out scared. Arthur shot arrows at Edwin as he went down on a barrier that Eve had created along with Aisha but they had no effect on him. "Are you ok?" Eve asked with Arthur keeping an arrow aimed at Edwin. "His using its power and it's pissed" Rose said looking at them and they saw black aura slowly covering one of her eyes. Edwin waved his hand and they were pushed aside by a wave of dark purple aura leaving Theo who then slowly stood up. "Be careful his after your sword" Aisha told him as the symbol on the sword started blinking and aura surrounded Theo. "I'd like to see him try and get it" he said attacking him. "Go help him" Rose told them as she held the eye. "But..."" Go" Rose interrupted Eve annoyed and she nodded and went with Arthur to help Theo who was being badly beaten as he didn't have enough strength because of the earlier match."In case I'm not able to hold it back" she said touching Aisha who had stayed with her as red aura surrounded Aisha's body. "This will hopefully protect you" she told her before feeling a sharp pain in her head making her hold it hard before finding herself on a land surrounded by black flame. She looked behind herself to see the demonic armour standing in front of her. "No" she said as it moved and started melting onto her. She tried to remove it but it continued to surround her. "Rose!!!" Aisha shouted as she saw her holding her head with tears coming out of her eyes. Eve tried surrounding Edwin in a barrier to stop him from moving so as to allow Arthur and Theo to attack but he broke free easily before throwing Theo away and throwing Arthur hard into the ground. He then looked at Eve and blasted a ball of aura at her that broke the barrier she tried protecting herself in and blasted her across the arena. Edwin looked back at Theo who was still holding the sword and walked towards him. He grabbed Theo's arm that was holding the sword and tore it off leaving him crying in pain whilst trying to keep in the blood gushing from where his arm used to be using his other one. Edwin then raised his other hand which created a large ball of aura that covered the whole Colosseum. He put his hand down and the ball of aura slowly descended but then a small black ball of aura was shot into it and it exploded. He looked around to see Rose standing in her demon form with her helmet now having two horns and Aisha watched her scared. Edwin absorbed the sword into his body whilst dropping Theo's arm and rushed towards Rose but she just raised her hand and he started floating. She then spread her fingers and spikes of black aura came out of his body and flew into Rose who absorbed them with her helmet emitting more aura from its eyes. Edwin then dropped to the ground with the horns and wings he had now gone and appeared in front of Rose and attacked her but she dodged easily and put out her hand as the sword flew out of him whilst covered in black aura. She the waved her hand around as it started attacking Edwin ferociously with him desperately trying to defend himself by using his arms that were covered in dark purple aura but it did little for him. A portal then suddenly opened and Edwin flew with what remained of his body into it but as it closed Rose flew up to it and held it open but was then blasted away by dark purple aura from it allowing it to close. She angrily roared making the ground shake but then was shot in the arm by a red arrow from Arthur who was slowly fading away but used his last strength to shoot it before losing consciousness. Rose looked at it for a while whilst turning back to normal slowly and dropped onto the ground unconscious as the sword stopped floating and fell down as well.......
