POWER

A large bulky man wearing big heavy armour with a giant axe on its back led several bandits in a forest as they surrounded chained blindfolded women. "A pretty good batch we got today" one of the bandits said looking at the women. "Can't wait to test them out" he continued with the other bandits now also looking intently towards the women."Don't worry you'll get your turns, after me of course" the leader said chuckling as the bandits frowned. They reached dozens of huge trees lying across the path they were on and the leader took out a round stone with a symbol on it which emitted green aura onto the trees revealing a hidden passage which they went through before it disappeared. "We better not over use them like the last ones or they won't sell" the leader told them as they continued walking. "Will try but it was funny watching the last batch that didn't sell run bare whilst being chased by the wolves" a bandit said laughing with the others. "If the rest that we left over don't sell again this time we'll use them til they drop dead" the leader told them making them grin amongst each other. When they entered their camp they immediately stopped, shocked to see the several massacred bodies scattered around it. "What the....!?" he said as he and the bandits looked around confused."What the hell happened here!!!!?"he shouted with some of the bandits going to check around the camp whilst the others stayed close to the women who were horrified by the sight before them. "It seems we were attacked boss" one of the bandits that had stayed behind told him. "Oh really" the leader said holding the bandits' head and squeezing it hard until it was completely crushed. "By who!!!!!" the leader shouted with the headless body falling down spraying blood onto the ground. Suddenly one of the bandits flew out of one of their living quarters. "So noisy" they heard someone say and a person covered in a black cloak walked out holding a bottle of ale." Sorry I helped myself to your stash and fell asleep " the person told him before drinking. "And might I ask who the f**k you are!?" the leader asked angrily as the person finished and threw the bottle down. "The one that did all this of course" the person said wiping their mouth before taking of the hood of her cloak revealing a woman with short red hair that was the same colour as her eyes and the cloak opened up a bit showing her red and black light armoured leather clothing."And guess whose gonna be next" she told them smiling. The leader looked at her for a while before grinning. "You think just cause you killed them you can take us on" he said chuckling. "I don't know what kind of dirty tactic you used against them but it isn't going to work on us" he told her as all the bandits rushed up to her but her eyes started glowing and she appeared behind them. "Well, it looks like it did" she said as all the bandits' hearts blew out of their chest and they fell to the ground."An aura user huh" he said putting on his helmet and equipping his axe which sent green aura around itself and his armour. "I'm going to make you pay for what you've done" he told her angrily as he rushed up to her and swung his axe hard but she just smiled with red aura covering her hand and held the attack with ease. "Is that the best you can do?" the woman asked looking at his shocked face whilst covering her other hand in aura which she used to punch him away through a dozen trees. He slowly stood up and looked down only to see a hole in his armour before it all shattered. "How is this possible!?" he asked himself looking down at the pieces of what used to be his armour. He looked up to see the woman walking towards him with an evil grin on her face."You b***h!!!!" he roared whilst swinging his axe that sent waves of green aura towards her but her eyes glowed brighter and the waves disappeared as they reached her. He later tried running away but she appeared in front of him and shook her head. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked as he swung his axe at her but she held it and kicked him away from it. "We still have so much to do" she told him whilst playing with his axe. The man tried running again but the woman threw the axe which went through one of his legs making him fall down in pain. "Please let me go, I'll pay you a king's worth if you do" he pleaded with the woman who continued walking towards him as he held his leg that was gushing out blood. "Gold won't change the voices of the women you've killed and abused crying out for your blood" she told him with her eyes glowing brighter. "This is going to hurt" she said smiling wickedly at his terrified face........ "Looks like the information we received was true" a knight wearing black heavy armour with a crest on it said watching several other knights wearing silver heavy armour with the same crest on it searching and examining the camp. "Over here!!!" he heard a knight shout and walked towards where the shout came from until he reached a group of knights that were looking at something some distance away. "We heard noises coming from hear and we came upon some wolves eating this" one of the knights told him showing him a half eaten corpse that had its legs missing. The black knight looked around and saw a note stuck onto a tree by a dagger."You're welcome" he read the note aloud quietly before ripping it off and walking back towards the camp. "How are the women doing ?" he asked a knight who was watching over them being escorted into a carriage. "We found most of them in one of the quarters chained to the ground whilst severely others were wounded and barely holding on to life but a couple were lucky enough to have arrived today and hid when they were left alone as the bandits went to fight the intruder who later on found them and told them to aid the other women before disappearing" he told him. "Did they say what the intruder looked like?" he asked the knight. "All they now is that it was woman because of her voice but her face was covered so they can't describe her" he replied. "So it had to be the same woman who we were told about by the last survivor of the raiding camp that was taken down some distance away" he said handing the knight the note before walking away."Bring me a map!!!" he shouted and a knight ran towards him and handed him one. "Only one person I know could've have done all this " the knight said opening and examining the map before noticing something. "Is this where you've been hiding?"....... "Is it ready yet!?" a dark figure that sat on a chair with pipes connected to it asked a man, with rough blond hair wearing glasses with one lense broken and dirty clothes with a long dirty coat coat over them,who moved around frantically in the poorly lit alchemy lab they were in."Almost done"the man replied continuing what he was doing."Good" the figure said coughing a bit. "But this is remarkable master Hayle" the man said looking at a container that had glowing dark symbols around it and contained dark purple aura. "May I ask where you found it?" "After my defeat at the hands of that commander who unleashed her power on me before my victory years ago not only was my body disfigured but my aura was corroded and started taking away my life force little by little and even more so when I used my power" "So that's why you're in this condition right now" "Yes, I began researching different books for a way to replace my damaged aura but there was nothing until I came upon a very ancient legend of a sealed off location that had enormous amounts of a sacred power from many ages ago" he said stopping as he coughed hard with blood coming out of his mouth. "The power was highly concentrated and spread out across the area killing everything that went close to it so I used most of my power to contain it into that container before it had the chance to destroy me but now, I fear my death is imminent" he continued with the man connecting the final pipes. "Are you sure about this, you may not survive" the man warned him but the figure's chair moved forward revealing his body that was bandaged and had melted metal stuck all over it."I'm going to die anyway" he told the man who hesitated before nodding and pulled down on a lever. The aura began going through the pipes and into syringes which appeared around Hayle and injected themselves into him. The aura quickly coursed through his body causing veins of it to appear around him with his eyes starting to glow dark purple. His body began shaking vigorously with the aura began spreading even faster. "I think that's enough" the man said trying to pull up the lever which refused to go up. "s**t" the man said trying harder but then there was an explosion that threw him to the wall. After a while on the ground he moaned and slowly stood up. He looked around the lab that was now destroyed but in the middle stood a woman with long dark purple hair. "Master Hayle, is that you?" the man asked confused and wiped his glasses. The woman looked at him with her dark purple eyes glowing as a dark purple dress appeared on her. "Yes, and no" she said before disappearing and appearing in front of him with her hand raised whilst covered in dark purple aura. "Hmmmm, from what these memories show me you can be useful" she said lowering her hand as her eyes stopped glowing with the aura disappeared from her hand and walked away leaving the man sweating. "What happened to master Hayles?" the man asked her confused and a bit afraid. "I've taken position of his body and changed it into my original form with his memories still lingering in my mind" she replied looking around. "Who are you then?" "Eilna, the queen of darkness" "I've never heard of you before" "Of course you haven't, it seems they've erased all existence of me" she said searching Hayle's memories."There isn't even a myth or legend about me" she said frowning and the room began to shake violently making the man fall to the ground. "Sorry, I just got a bit agitated" she said looking at the man as the room stopped shaking." So, Belcwin is it, even though you don't really have a choice will you join me in my conquest?" she asked the man who stood up and looked at her for a while. "I only followed my master as he had the power to allow me to experiment with cross hybrids and the dead but if you can't then, its better you just kill me cause the thrill those experiments give me is all I live for" he told her. Elina raised her hands as one emitted a flame like aura whilst the other emitted souls. " You mean necromancy?" she asked examining the hand with souls. "Yes", he looked at the hand with souls in awe,"he breath life into my creations for his army and my research" he replied her but she then looked at a wall and shot a ball of aura to towards it making it crumble down revealing a lifeless winged humanoid creature held up by chains. "Impressive" she said walking to it before examining it. "This one was meant to hunt down destroy the commander of the Order but master Hayle didn't have enough power for it so we abandoned it" he told her. Elina stood still for a while watching one of Hayles' memories before looking at Belcwin. "That dark power she unleashed is the same as the one that defeated me ages ago" she said looking back at the creature. "She must be disposed of" she said raising her hand which poured aura into the creature that,after a while, quickly opened its dark purple eyes and started trying to break free from the chains."Amazing" Belcwin said admiring it but at a distance. "Now will you follow?" she asked him and he nodded still admiring the creature. "Good" she said as the chains broke and the creature dropped to the ground."How were you planning to make it find her ?" she asked him as the creature rushed towards them but she looked at it with her eyes glowing and it stopped and waited patiently. "With this" Belcwin said searching around the destroyed lab until he found a little vile with red aura."Interesting" Elina said making the vile come to her using her aura and she examined it. "What?" Belcwin asked confused as she threw it back to him. "It seems that dark power has latched itself onto the original aura from the person who originally used it against me and now it goes into every person the original aura transfers itself to after the one possessing it dies " she said watching Belcwin slowly open the vile as the red aura came out of it and went into the creature which spread it's wings and flew away through the ceiling."Now that that's been taken care of"she said waving her hand as aura went around Belcwin cleaning his clothes and also fixing his glasses."That's better"she told him as he examined himself. "I'm a bit worried, don't you think the commander will use that power again?" he asked following her as she walked towards the stairs. "It doesn't matter ,unless, your creature doesn't finish her off before it awakens in which case I'll take care of her but for now take me to a place that is filled with death, it's time to continue from where I left off".......... "Why do you always serve people this shitty ale?" the woman asked a fat old man who served her a mug of ale as she sat in a tavern."Says the person who keeps on coming back for it" he said chuckling as he watched her drink."I really hate the fact that you can no longer stay cause of what you did for us" the old man told her looking a bit worried. "They were kidnapping women and kept on attacking and looting the merchants when they tried to travel, I couldn't keep ignoring them" she reassured him. "And besides after six years of being stuck with you guys, I need some new exposure even if it's alone" she said quickly finishing the ale and standing up. "Why don't you want the rest of the town to know you're leaving?" he asked watching her put on her cloak."Because I don't want them to worry and besides, I'm not good with goodbyes but since its you I'll make an exception" she replied him and held out her hand. "Don't get into too much trouble out there" the old man said shaking it. "No promises" she said smiling at him before exiting the tavern. She stopped outside for a while and looked around the peaceful town she was in with people either walking or talking to each other on the streets."I'm actually gonna miss this place" she said about to continue walking when suddenly something crashed down close to her onto a horse that was stationed in front of the tavern. The dust settled revealing a humanoid creature with wings staring at her with dark purple eyes. "And what the f**k are you ?" she asked before a ball of dark purple aura appeared in front of it and thrust her into a building before exploding spreading dark purple flames to the surrounding buildings. She jumped out of the flames covering herself and the two people she saved with her aura. "Tell everyone to get as far away from here as possible" she told them with her eyes starting to glow as they ran away. The creature flew fast towards her but she dodged it whilst making sure to get a hold on one of its wings and threw it into a building. "You're gonna have to do better than that ugly" she said to the creature as it slowly emerged from the building looking angry. It then raised its hand and the flames quickly consumed the buildings they were on turning them into balls of aura that flew into the it making it grow larger and more stronger. "Haven't seen that before" she said as the creature rushed up to her and started attacking her. She managed to dodge most of it attacks but the creature then concetrated a lot of aura into its final attack that landed on her making her go through several buildings."Aughh, I felt that one" she said slowly standing up with her body covered in aura she had protected herself in before the attack had landed on her. "Now its my turn" she said disappearing and appearing in front of the creature before attacking it really fast with her eyes emitting more aura with each attack. The creature couldn't dodge as every attack landed on it before she stopped and startled breathing heavily looking at its body that was now covered with holes with holes. "Haven't used that much power in a while" she said turning around but then one of its hand regenerated and punched her away but she slid with her feet on the ground to stop."Ain't gonna go down that easy huh" she said watching its body quickly regenerate itself before it formed two balls of aura that it shot onto the ground creating a large of wave of aura that went across half of the whole town consuming everything it touched but the woman covered herself in her aura to shield herself. The wave then reversed itself into the creature making it much larger and stronger. The woman appeared in front of it and tried attacking it but it was all in vain as the attacks had no effect on it. She was surprised when its attack landed on her faster than she could see as she was blown away with the creature appearing behind her and punching her over and over again several times until it punched her now bloody body high into the air. It then spread it wings and flew up ahead of her and whilst covering its hands in aura hit her hard back towards the ground creating a big crater on impact. The creature then covered it's entire body in its aura as it flew down towards her very fast only to have itself stopped by the woman who was now standing and held it with her hand covered in flame like black aura. "You've done it now" she said looking at it with her now black eyes. She threw the creature back into the air and flew up with it whilst covered in black aura as she continuously attacked it. Its regeneration became slower and slower as she punched it harder and harder with each punch increasing in power.The creature managed to blast her away using its mouth and tried regenerating faster. "I'll make sure you have nothing to regenerate from" she said flying closer to it before a large amount of black flames covered her entire arm which she shot at the creature instantly disintegrating it. She gasped for air for a while whilst still floating but suddenly held her head in pain. "Nooooo!!!!" she screamed as she shook her head with her hair and clothing including her blood turning black. "Hey here she comes" a person from the townsfolk that had gathered some distance away from the town said as they watched the woman float down in front of them still surrounded by black aura. "What happened to her?" another person asked as she looked at them with her black eyes and roared before flying towards them........
