Chapter 10

Black aura surrounded the part of the forest everyone was in and the people looked around terrified as Rose and the others rushed in front of them. Alora, who was now wearing a patch sewn where her eye had been removed, appeared from the smoke and looked at Rose who smiled at her making her angry. " Get them!!!" she shouted as the black aura rushed towards them and she walked with it but suddenly they all disappeared and in their place were balls of aura. "An illusion" Alora said realising what they had seen before was not real and she looked around noticing that they were being quickly surrounded by a barrier made of blue aura.Some of the black aura wasn't surrounded and it turned into a pack of vampires but they were quickly killed by Rose who used her aura daggers before they disappeared. "Hi there" she heard someone say and turned around to see Eve whose eyes were glowing as she held the barrier in place."I saw your reaction to me, do you really hate me that much?" Rose asked acting hurt as she walked to Eve and Alora hit the barrier with anger but Rose noticed the patch on her eye. "Lemme guess, your queen wasn't happy when you got back empty handed" Rose said pointing at the patch and Alora touched it. "A small price to pay for failure but I won't fail again" Alora told her as the black aura behind her turned into thousands of vampires which scattered around the barrier and tried to break it with Alora who flew around with the ones trying to break it from above. Rose poured her aura into the ball of aura that appeared on her hand and the balls of aura with the vampires joined together turning into a bigger ball of aura. "You sure you can contain this?" Rose asked Eve who was sweating from the strain of keeping the barrier from breaking from the attacks by the vampires inside of it. "Yes just do it already" Eve replied her annoyed as her eyes glowed brighter with the barrier getting denser. Rose poured more aura into the ball of aura and the one inside the barrier started shaking vigorously with Alora looking at it and her eye widened as it exploded temporarily blinding both Rose and Eve and made the whole barrier crack. Rose stopped pouring her aura into the ball of aura that disappeared as she looked into the cracked barrier and saw all the burned bodies of the vampires lying on the ground dead. Eve's eyes stopped glowing as she panted and the barrier broke apart. "That takes care of that" she said looking at the bodies and kicked a few but noticed something. "Where's Alora's body?" she asked Eve as they looked around. "Must be under there, somewhere" Eve replied. "Come on we gotta get to the others"

"Ya, you're right" Rose said surrounding her body in red aura and she flew off with Eve but as soon as they left black aura started emitting out of some of the vampire's bodies......

"They're coming back" Arthur said whilst hidden within another illusion barrier as they saw Rose and Eve flying down towards them. "Everything went according to plan?" Freya asked them when they landed. "Ya and now we don't have to worry about Alora anymore" Rose replied with the aura surrounding her body disappearing. "Ya just the blood powered vampires Diadra is gonna release when we attack" Freya said looking at the army of her people behind them that was talking amongst themselves. "Did Tyral take those that can't fight to a safe place where they know they won't be found?" Eve asked her and she nodded. "You sure you want to do this without the power that bow gave you, I mean you could be safer with those that are hiding" Arthur said to Mella who was testing the long bow she had. "This ain't my first battle without that bow so I'll be fine" she told him putting the bow on her back." Worry about the enemies we're going to face not about me ok" she said smiling at him and he sighed. "You guys want us to give you some privacy?" Aisha asked them as they noticed Rose and the others looking at them."Very funny" Arthur replied her annoyed as he walked towards them. "Alright its time to do this suicide mission" Freya said readying her armour and Rose looked at her annoyed but then Arthur felt something. "In coming!!!" someone from the army shouted and they saw vampires rushing towards them with Alora amongst them. "What the hell!?" Rose said with her eyes glowing as her aura daggers appeared in her hands and she started fighting the ones that came at her. "I thought you said you took care of them!!!" Freya shouted battling other vampires. The vampires were few in number so they were managing to overpower them but then some went towards Mella and grabbed her. "Let go of me!!!!" she shouted struggling as they flew off with her but Arthur saw them and shot a few of them but was then distracted by other vampires that attacked him. "s**t"he said trying to quickly shoot them and get back to saving Mella. Rose saw her being taken away and covered herself in aura about to fly to her but Alora held her and threw her onto the ground. "I'm not done with you" she said smiling as Rose stood and started attacking her but she dodged all her attacks and was about to punch her but was held by Aisha who was in her dragon scale armour. "Go!!!" she told Rose who nodded and flew off fast in the direction the vampires had taken Mella. "Let go of me" Alora said about to punch her but was blocked by a small barrier made by Eve before Aisha punched her hard. Alora stood and wiped the blood off her mouth whilst looking at both Eve and Aisha. "You really think you can take us on?" Aisha asked her with Freya and Arthur including the army joining them as they had finished taking care of the other vampires. "You're not gonna win against us all" she warned then turning into black aura when Arthur shot her and she disappeared into the forest. "I should've shot her faster" Arthur said angrily as he lowered his hand with his hand crossbow disappearing.......

Rose flew fast in the air trying to catch up with the vampires that were flying away with Mella who was still struggling. "Damn it" one of them said after seeing Rose getting closer behind them. "We'll lose her in the forest" another one said as they went down and started flying in the forest. "You're not getting away from me" Rose said following them but failed to manoeuvre past the tress for a while. "Damn it" she said looking at them as the got further away from her. "f**k this s**t" she said with her eyes glowing brighter as the aura arounder her grew bigger and she started flying whilst breaking through the trees. "s**t" a vampire said seeing what she was doing. "You guys are f****d" Mella told them smiling whilst looking at Rose who was getting close. "Since we're faster than you guys go and slow her down" a vampire told two of them and they looked at the vampire. "If you don't and she gets the girl Alora is gonna kill us anyway for failing"

They looked at each other for a while before letting go of Mella and flew towards Rose. "Come on" Rose said as the vampires held her making her stop. "I don't have time for this s**t!!!" Rose shouted angrily before grabbing both of them and smashing their hands into each other hard. She let their bodies drop to the ground before resuming her chase making a wave that blew all the trees around her. "I think it's best you just let me go" Mella told the remaining two vampires whilst watching Rose fly towards them faster than before. "Cause I think she's pissed now"

"Shut up" one the vampires said hitting her head hard making her fall unconscious. "You've got to do it" the vampire said looking at the other vampire who nodded before letting go and flew in front of Rose. The vampire then held its chest and squeezed it hard whilst pouring aura into it as its whole body turned into black aura that covered a large part of the forest. "Damn it" Rose said stopping and looking around because she couldn't see anything anymore but then the black aura exploded. She crashed into the ground hard and slowly stood up. "Where did they go?" she asked herself looking around seeing that the blast had destroyed part of the forest. She flew up into the air and looked around the forest trying to find the vampire with Mella but could not see anything.........

Rose flew down into the illusion barrier and everyone looked at her. "I couldn't get her" Rose told Arthur and the others when they reached her. "Great now they have another power source" Freya said and they looked at her angry. "What I'm just saying it as it is"

"If only I had sensed them earlier" Arthur said clenching his fist. "No its our fault for not making absolutely sure they were all dead" Eve told them. "Yes yes you all f****d up now what?" Freya asked and they looked at her annoyed. "For f***s sake we know you weren't with this plan from the start but you don't have to keep being a b***h about it" Eve replied her. "Eve is right Freya besides their army is still weakened" Rose said looking at Freya who frowned. "Look I know we f****d up but that doesn't mean we just give up and stop fighting"

"But we lost the element of surprise factor we were going for"

"I know but we were still going to fight them anyway "

"Your leading us and this army to doom"

"I dont know about you but I believe It's better to go out fighting than just sitting on our asses waiting to be killed" Rose told her looking at her angry."If you and your people don't want to help us save you then just stay here and wait for us and even if we fail which we won't, just know at least we tried unlike you people"she said walking into the forest and the others followed her leaving Freya and the army. "She's right" one of the people from the army said and they looked at him. "This used to be our home once and I don't know about you guys but I want to die fighting" the person said walking where Rose and the others went through but Freya stopped him. "You're just giving yourself a painful death" she told the person who looked at her. "Like she said, better to die fighting than waiting to be killed" the person told her before walking past her. The rest of the army started talking amongst themselves and slowly one by one followed the person as Freya watched them. "Idiots" she said walking the opposite direction........

"I'm seriously starting to rethink this" Rose said as they stood in front an army of vampires with beasts amongst them that were positioned in front of a big black castle. "Well there's no turning back now" Eve said with her eyes glowing and her barrier armour formed on her as Aisha took out her sword which constructed her dragon scale armour. "Ya you've got a point" Rose said with her eyes glowing and Arthur's eyes glowed as well as he made his hand crossbows appear on his hands. "Are we doing this or what?" they heard someone ask and turned around to see the army waiting behind them. "You're right it's better to die fighting than waiting" one of them told Rose who smiled as they looked back at the other army. "Let's f*****g do this!!!!!" she shouted as she started running and everyone else followed her with the other army running towards them also before they clashed with each other and started fighting violently. Rose took out the ones that attacked her with ease before she was blasted by a ball of black aura. "f**k " she said quickly standing as other vampires tried attacking her when she was on the ground and she fought them off. "Where the hell did that come from!!!?" she asked before noticing another ball of aura coming at her but was blocked by Eve with a barrier. "Over there!!!" Eve shouted pointing towards groups of vampires that were gathering aura together before shooting it at them and the army. "Got it" she said surrounding herself in aura before jumping from the ones attacking her and landing in the middle of one of the groups. "Hi" she said to them as her aura daggers appeared in her hands and she killed them all before jumping to the next group that tried shooting her but their shot was blocked by Eve's barrier before Rose went through it and killed them also. "A little help?" Aisha asked as she was being overpowered by some vampires but they were shot by aura bolts that came from Arthur. "You getting tired?" Arthur asked her as he continued dodging and shooting vampires."You kidding" she replied him smiling as she continued fighting. "Not ev......" she stopped talking as she saw more vampires flying out from within the castle. "Thats gonna be a problem" Eve told Rose as they also noticed them. "I got this" Rose said as her aura changed from red to black and the demonic helmet and gauntlets appeared on her. Eve looked at her surprised as she flew into the air and clapped her hands that created a wave of black aura that cut most of the flying vampires in half. Arthur and Aisha also looked at Rose surprised as she stayed in the sky killing the remaining flying vampires. "Look out" Arthur said seeing the vampire that was about to attack Aisha behind her but Freya tackled it before putting her sword through its head. "Can you focus we're on a battlefield here" she told Aisha pulling her sword out and fighting other vampires. "You finally came to your senses?" Aisha asked her and she frowned. "Ya ya can we get back to what we came here to do" she said looking at her as she thrust her sword through another vampire's head. As Rose continued killing the vampires in the air she noticed the castle door opening. Three vampires walked out with black aura emitting from their bodies and their eyes were completely red as they roared and started ripping through other vampires towards Eve and the others. "Why are they killing they're own people?" Aisha asked Freya. "Those are probably the ones that Diadra continued feeding blood, and it looks like they're blood urge has taken control of them" Freya replied her as she saw they were going towards Arthur, Eve and Aisha. Rose looked down and saw their intended targets but when she was about to fly down someone flew at her hard pushing her back. She threw the person off her and and looked at them to see it was Alora. "So you've been hiding your full power I see" Alora said looking at her demonic helmet and gauntlets and Rose looked at her annoyed. Alora then took out a pouch and bit it hard as it gushed out blood which she drank. Her body started shaking as she dropped the pouch and looked at Rose with her eyes completely turning red and her body emitting a lot of black aura..........

Eve struggled as a blood driven vampire pushed against the barrier she held up but was being pushed back with it. The vampire broke through her barrier and attacked her but she blocked his attacks using her barrier armour that was beginning to crack. Arthur shot the vampire with a bolt distracting it as he dodged the other blood driven vampire that was attacking him giving Eve a chance to punch the vampire away with compressed barriers. Arthur shot multiple bolts at the one attacking him but it dodged them all and grabbed him before smashing him hard onto the ground. As it was about to attack him again Aisha punched it away but allowed the third blood driven vampire that was attacking her to hit her hard. She slid away on her feet and coughed out blood as she saw her armour cracked where she was hit. Arthur shot bolts at it as he stood but they broke against the vampires skin which annoyed it and it hit Arthur away but Aisha caught him. It rushed towards them but was then blocked by a barrier that formed around them which was created by Eve who was also in it. "These guys are tough" Eve said keeping the barrier up as the other blood driven vampires joined the other one and began trying to break the barrier. "Can you still fight?" Arthur asked Aisha seeing the crack on her armour and the blood on her mouth. "Ya" she said holding up her sword that sent aura to where the crack on her armour was and repaired it. "We could use some help though but I guess Rose is busy" Aisha said looking up at the black aura that covered part of the sky. "We need to think of something and fast" Eve told them as her barrier began to crack. "I may have an idea but you guys have to give me time and hold them in one place" Aisha said but then they noticed some of the people from the army they came with starting to focus on attacking the blood driven vampires. Eve saw Freya running to them and opened a part of the barrier so she can get in before closing it. "We're trying to help you guys whilst you're busy holding your selves up in here" Freya said annoyed. "We have to protect and give Aisha time to take care of those things" Arthur told her and she nodded. "Ok I'll tell the army but do what you're gonna do fast" she said to Aisha who nodded. "Alright then let's do this" Eve said dropping the barrier as they left Aisha who was holding her sword with her eyes closed as it started glowing. Freya barked out orders to the army whilst fighting as some of them surrounded Aisha to protect her from other vampires and the others helped out Arthur and Eve with the blood driven vampires which were killing the people in the army with ease. Eve started blocking their attacks as they continued attacking the people in the army allowing the army to hit them as Arthur shot them with his eyes glowing brighter and his bolts covered themselves in more aura that began to pierce their skin. The vampires got angry as the black aura emitting out of them increased and they began breaking the barriers with easily allowing them to continue killing the people in the army and Arthur's bolts started dispersing as they reached them. The part of the army protecting Aisha felt a wave of power coming from her as she opened her eyes that were completely white and her armour was surrounded in a lot of white aura. "I think she's ready " Arthur said noticing Aisha's transformation as continuous chains made of aura came out of his hand crossbows and tied around the blood driven vampires tightly with Eve creating a barrier around them that tightly squeezed them. The black aura emitting out of them increased further pushing some of the army back but Eve and Arthur stood their ground with the barrier and chains beginning to crack. "Hurry!!!" Eve shouted as Aisha rushed towards them creating a wave that pushed everyone and everything around her and made the ground beneath her break as she moved. The vampires broke free from Arthur and Eve's hold but it was too late as Aisha swiftly cut across their bodies before they exploded in a huge explosion that Eve protected Arthur and the army from with barriers. The barriers collapsed after the explosion and Eve fell to her knees before coughing out blood as her barrier armour disappeared. "You ok?" Arthur asked her concerned as he helped her up. "Ya just used too much of my aura that's all" she said and they looked at Aisha who walked towards them with her eyes turning back to normal and her armour stopped glowing. "Nice work" Arthur told her and she smiled before blood burst out of her armour and she fell to the ground............
