Chapter 20

"You're still thinking about her aren't you?" the dragon king asked Blaze who was in his humanoid form as he flew down next to him in a field of red grass and turned into his humanoid form. "I thought we agreed.....""That I shouldn't be thinking of the worst yes I know and I'm not " Blaze interrupted him continuing to look into the distance. "It's been six years since I've seen her and I just miss her that's all"

"And regret not telling her how you truly felt about her?" the king asked him and he looked at him surprised. "I'm the king you know so I should know what's troubling my people"

"Was it really that obvious about how I felt about her?" Blaze asked the king who chuckled. "Very" he replied but then both of them felt a strong pressure before a part of the sky above them shattered like glass and down flew Rea hard into the ground in front of them. "Fuuuuuck" Rea said climbing out of the crater she had created when she fell with both the king and Blaze running towards her. "Oh, hi guys"

"Wait aren't those voices....""They are" the king said interrupting Blaze and examining Rea. "And she's wearing a merged form of the armour we gave Aisha"

"Don't really have time to explain the details but bottom line is we fused and now we're fighting her" Rea said pointing at Elina who was flying down towards them fast and Rea created multiple colored barriers in front of them which Elina managed to break through but was met by a barrage of bolts Rea started shooting at her that she blocked whilst being held back by them. "Elina!!?" the king said shocked before both him and Blaze turned into their dragon forms and blew fire at her which joined the bolts and managed to push Elina away. "What happened to Razze?" Blaze asked Rea who surrounded Elina in the air with multiple barriers with the king strengthening them with his dragon breath making them harder for Elina to break. "We..... we couldn't save her, we're sorry" Rea told him with Elina emitting a massive amount of aura that broke through the barriers and pushed all of them back whilst breaking the ground below her. "That doesn't look good" Rea said noticing Elina building up a lot of aura around herself that destroyed the ground it touched. The king and Blaze tried blasting fire towards it but it only seemed to make the aura stronger. "Blast as much power as you can onto my hand quickly!!!" Rea shouted raising her hand and both the king and Balze blew as much of their powerful flames as they could onto it with Rea making the flames stay on her arm by covering them with multiple barriers.She then spread her wings and flew towards Elina blasting bolts with her other hand that made a path through Elina's aura for her to pass through before she made dozens of compressed barriers in front of the hand with flames and punched through the shield that tried protecting Elina allowing the punch to connect making her fly away fast into the sky that shattered and she disappeared into the cloud of auras that was now there. "s**t" Rea said looking at the aura sky with the aura that Elina left over dispersing and her arm healing after taking a massive amount of damage from the attack she had inflicted on Elina. "Are you ok?" the king asked as Rea watched her armour cover the still healing arm. "The battle isn't over since she's still alive out there so there isn't that much time to rest" Rea replied and looked at Blaze who had turned into his humanoid form and looked down depressed. "We really are sorry for not being able to save her" she told him flying fast into the sky of auras. "We will hold a ceremony in her honour" the king told Blaze who had tears rolling down his cheeks but then the aura sky started rumbling whilst turning dark purple and vicious horrific creatures started falling out of the sky. "What's going on!!?" the king asked shocked watching them drop to the ground and start running towards them. "Leave them to me" Blaze said looking up with his eyes glowing brightly as his tears turned red and began burning the grass under him............

"Where did you go?" Rea asked looking around the aura around her which suddenly turned dark purple. "Do you even know why I'm doing this!!?"she heard Elina's voice ask her angrily and tried to locate it."Really we're doing this now, all we've been told is because you just want to spread havoc and chaos" Rea replied flying into a certain direction for a while but found nothing. "Correct but do you know why?" Elina asked her as she started firing bolts in all directions but they hit nothing. "Honestly I don't care, the chaos and havoc thing is enough for me" Rea told her but was suddenly held in place by dark purple aura that surrounded her with Elina appearing in front of her. "Have you ever heard the story of how the dark world of power was formed?" Elina asked watching Rea struggling against the aura to get free but failed. "Yes the collective darkness that is found on every world manifested it" Rea replied with her body erupting black flame that started slowly corroding the aura that bound her. "Of course that's what the nexus told the guardian in you" Elina said watching her. "You know the dark world of power wasn't always the way it is"

"Oh really?"

"Before all these worlds came to be it used to be the only world in existence without all that darkness and it was beautiful"

"That's a lie, the nexus told me, well Eve, that it was manifested by all the collective darkness found on every world"

"Now that's the lie, when the other world's started showing up and their consciousness developed in the nexus they had to come up with a plan to handle the darkness that showed up on their worlds and they decide to pour it all onto the original world without its aproval"

"What!!?"

"The darkness poured onto the world destroyed it and all the life forms living on it turning them into demons thus creating the dark world of power you know now"

"So if we were to belive what you're saying.....that would mean what that vampire told us about their world being near the dark world of power means it was close to it when it was turned before being moved by the other worlds"

"Exac.....""I said if we believed you which we don't"Rea interrupted her and Elina quickly flew up to her."See for yourself" Elina said waving her hand over Rea's face as it emitted dark purple aura that went into her and showed her the memory of the dark world of power before it was turned and everything that Elina said coming to pass. "No" Rea said when the memory stopped and she looked at Elina. "That world yearns for revenge and I'm fulfilling it by spreading the chaos and havoc those worlds deserve for what they have done" Elina told her. "Even though those worlds consciousness did those things it doesn't mean the life forms on them have to pay" Rea said breaking free from her binds and punching Elina away hard. "There has to be a better way to rectify this mistake"

"There isn't" Elina told her angrily as she raised her hands and the dark purple aura around them started being covered in dark purple lightning. All the lightning then joined together and hit Rea who tried her best to hold it back as it pushed her out the aura and into a world where she crashed into a castle. "Who are you?" Rea heard a familiar voice ask and turned around to see Freya wearing black royal clothing whilst sitting on a throne with several other vampires in front of her. "Good to see you to" Rea said standing up and Freya recognized the voices. "What.....""We really don't have time to explain"Rea interrupted her flying through the hole she created to see the sky shattering and being replaced by dark purple aura with viscous horrific creatures falling out of it. She then saw Elina holding up a giant ball of aura that she thrust towards her and the castle and Rea raised her hands to create a barrier that intercepted the aura but was being pushed back by it. "s**t" Rea said trying her best to hold the ball back whilst corroding it with black flame when suddenly black aura started emitting into the barrier she was holding up making it stronger. "Why is it the first thing you bring back is trouble?" Freya asked flying up next to her with several other vampires that were emitting their aura into the barrier. "Thanks" Rea said leaving the vampires to hold up the barrier as she flew through it into the ball of aura with her body emitting multiple colored flames that began corroding the ball of aura until it was gone. She then created a whip with the auras that tied around Elina and used it to swing her to the ground before blasting several bolts at her that increased the speed in which she crashed. "I take it you guys failed to stop Elina from retrieving what she was after" Freya said looking down with Rea where Elina had crashed. "What gave you that idea?" Rea asked looking at her before being dragged away by Elina who quickly flew up with her into the aura sky. "You can't defeat me" Elina told Rea who tried escaping from her grip but could not. "You haven't proven that yet" Rea told her head butting her several times with multiple auras covering her helmet but Elina kept holding her with Rea's helmet breaking revealing her multi colored eyes. "Is that so" Elina said with the dark purple aura around them being absorbed by her making her more powerful. "It seems the more worlds that fall into my clutches the more power I gain so let me prove to you that you cannot defeat me"

"Do it then" Rea said before Elina threw he away hard making her crash through several worlds until she crashed onto one which had many volcanoes. She looked up only to see another world coming towards her and crashing onto the world she was on making them explode before she was thrust onto another world with her armour badly damaged and her blood covering parts of her. "Is that all you've got?" Rea asked looking into the aura sky only to see a giant fist coming towards her and punching her through several worlds. Another giant hand than appeared and both of them held her in between each other and blasted her multiple time with large waves of dark purple aura before disappearing leaving a very badly injured Rea floating in darkness."You put up a valiant fight but I'm afraid it's over" Elina said appearing next to Rea's body. Elina was about to blast her but then she held her hand and looked at her. "I'm not..... done yet" Rea said disappearing in a cloud of aura that surrounded her leaving Elina to shout angrily..........

Rea opened her eyes to find herself floating in front of the dark world of power which radiated with darkness that she felt."Wanted to kill me yourself" Rea said chuckling before coughing out blood. "She misunderstands" Rea heard the world telling her. "She may have seen those memories but I never wished for any harm to come to the other worlds, it was this darkness around me that made her think that"

"So you're saying you don't want revenge, that's kinda hard to believe "

"It's true, I've always felt getting revenge on them was never the right answer"

"So why don't you tell her?"

"I tried but she won't listen"

"Of course she won't" Rea said struggling to make herself face the world and summoning her multiple auras to surround her but they were weak."It took all I had to protect myself from Elina's last attacks so I can't hope to defeat her now"

Suddenly they heard a loud bang and Rea turned around to see Elina flying fast towards them. "Oh no" Rea said preparing to fight but then the world behind her started surrounding her in its aura. "What are you doing!!?" Rea asked struggling against it as it dragged her into itself. "Decided to get rid of the hinderence yourself" Elina said watching with Rea stretch out her hand before the world completely engulfed her. "You have to stop this" the world told Elina who frowned. "They deserve this for what they have done to you" Elina told the world sternly. "But this is not what I want" the world told her. "Sometimes you don't know what you truly want until you've attained it" Elina told the world noticing that its dark aura was being absorbed within it including its demons. "I should've never allowed my memories with this darkness to come into you" the world told Elina with its dark aura almost completely gone. "What are you doing!!?" Elina asked angrily. "I'm rectifying my mistake" the world told Elina before the dark aura around it completely vanished leaving a dry world with cracks all over it. Suddenly Elina noticed a hand break out of the surface of the world and out crawled Rea whose body was covered in dark aura that emitted out of her. She held her head in pain with the aura repairing her armour and reshaping it into a more demonic form. "No" Elina said blasting several balls of aura towards her but the aura was corroded as soon as it got close to Rea and disappeared. Rea then lifted and looked at her hand which made a small ball of aura that she threw towards Elina that created a giant black explosion when it reached her. "Damn it" Elina said barely managing to escape the explosion that damaged her clothing and left black marks that started corroding her. When she tried taking more power from other worlds Rea appeared in front of her and created a giant orb of dark aura around them that prevented her. Elina looked around the orb and looked at where Rea had been but she had disappeared. "Stop this!!!" Elina shouted blasting a wave of her aura that did nothing but then multiple barriers of dark aura surrounded her. She looked up to see a dark aura form of Eve looking her whilst holding up the barriers before squeezing her in them as they exploded one by one with Elina covering herself in her aura to try to minimize damage. Elina blasted a giant ball of aura towards Eve which was stopped by dark aura forms of Rose and Rohesia who appeared in front of Eve and corroded the aura. A dark aura form Aisha then appeared next to them before they started ruthlessly attacking Elina who tried her best attacking back but was failing as she was also being attacked by a dark aura form of Arthur who shot endless bolts at her. Elina became really frustrated and used all the aura that she had to surround her body which pushed all of them back and tried to remove the dark aura around them. Eve and the others then joined back together to reform Rea and she flew towards Elina. Elina noticed her and reconcentrated all of her aura from her body to hit Rea who was held back by it. "This ends now"Elina told Rea who looked at her." I agree" Rea said covering her body in more dark aura which she used to overpower Elina's aura before reaching her and thrusting her hand into Elina's chest. "I can't say your reason to do this was all evil" Rea said to Elina who looked at her holding back the tremendous pain she felt as dark aura corroded her body and deconstructed it . "But I can't forgive you for what you have done"

"I know" Elina said smiling as her body completely deconstructed. The orb she had formed then disappeared and she floated in front of what used to be the dark world of power. "You know this could've killed us or turned us mad" Rea told the world looking at the dark aura around her. "Through you're joint connection I made sure all of your auras were used to shield your minds so you could use the dark aura " the world told Rea who looked up."There's still one thing that's left to take care of" Rea told the world and quickly flew into a crack that appeared above them and found herself in the nexus that was now flowing with its original auras instead of Elina's. "Good work guar.....""I'll stop you right there"Rea said interrupting the collective consciousness of worlds that was talking to her. "There's still one threat that still needs to be taken care of" Rea said with the dark aura around her body spreading into the other auras. "What....are...you doing!!?" the consciousness asked in pain whilst trying to resist the dark aura creating sparks . "I see now that too many worlds having a consciousness is dangerous for the life forms that live on them, so that consciousness must be eradicated" Rea said spreading more dark aura with the nexus staring to vibrate violently until she had destroyed the consciousness of world's. She then raised her hand and dragged the former dark world of power into the nexus. "What have you done!?" the world asked as the auras in the nexus started distabalizing. Rea then raised her hand as the dark aura still in the nexus carried the other auras into the world which started growing vegetation around itself and stabilized the flow of auras in the nexus. "I understand why the dark aura was removed by the other worlds, because it prevented them from taking control of the nexus from you" Rea told the world.

"From me!?"

"You were the original world before the others came into existence meaning you had control of the nexus before they did and they made you forget by making sure the dark aura they sent to you corroded you enough to alter important parts of your memory"

"How do you know this?"

"Because I have the mind of a guardian that was connected with that collective consciousness we destroyed and when you gave us dark aura it helped it dwell deeper into its memories" Rea said landing on the world before defusing and they all dropped to the ground. "That was exhausting" Rose said panting with the others. "Wait what about the dark au.....""Don't worry about it" Rose interrupted Aisha. "Since we used so much of it in defeating Elina, the collective consciousness and bringing this world into the nexus whilst also leaving some to make sure another consciousness doesn't develop we reduced quite a lot to the point that Rohesia and I can handle it in ourselves" Rose told them. "Can't believe we survived through all that "Arthur said making them all smile and they looked at each other." Of course we did"...........
