Unexpected turn

After several hours in the car we finally arrive at the Blood Moon Pack. We get out of the suv and approach the doors to the pack house. We are greeted by what I believe is an omega. We fallow the girl into the pack house to a conference room. There are several Alphas for the surrounding packs seated.

They are staring at us like we don’t belong. I let Jaxon introduce us. “I am Jaxon and I am As head advisor. We are here to gain information and to asses if As assistance is needed”.

The Alpha that was giving us the stink eye final talks. “I am retired Alpha John of the blood moon pack. My son will be joining us after he finishes his meeting”

What kind of alpha schedules a meeting that will overlap another. I use my vampire hearing to scan the area and that’s when I hear it. “We need to get dressed Julia, I have a meeting”. That bastard was having s*x I it’s a she wolf he wasn’t in a meeting. I’m ready to leave now.

“Jaxon I know why we have to wait” I whisper to him. “Why” he asks. “ Well I tuned in and heard the Alpha having s*x. He should be in here soon because I heard him telling the girl to get dressed. If he is as arrogant in person we are leaving” I’m not sure why the thought of him having s*x pisses me off so much but it does.

Finally the i***t alpha walks in and stops and looks at me. I ignore him and walk over to my seat and the I heard the words I fear. Mate! He growls out. Everyone gasps and I instantly back up.

Jaxon can see my panic and comes to comfort me which makes the Alpha growl loader. I start panicking and breathing heavy. I have flash backs of Master Gabriel and his years of t*****e and captivity he kept in because I would not be his mate.

“Hello little one, would you like to come up and join me from for a meal” he asks and I sit chained to the wall of the dungeon. Starved and beaten. Iv been here for 2 years and I still haven’t given in. A slap of skin to skin rings out and my head flys to the side. I realize he slapped me for ignoring him. I look up into his yellow eyes and spit blood into his face. He grabbed my face “soon little one, soon”

I’m sitting on the floor in Jacobs arms shaking. Everything sounds like it’s underwater and my head is spinning. I hear Jaxon tell the Alpha to calm down. “She is terrified. She has another try to force her into being his mate years ago. She suffered years of torcher from him so PLEASE calm down” He dismisses everyone else to the sitting room so I can calm down.

I finally feel like my breathing is stabilize. I stand up with Jaxons help. I look into the sad eyes of the Alpha. He hands me a glass of water which I gladly take. “I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to scare you. My name is Lucas Stanford” he says in a calm tone.

“Amara Blood” is all I whisper out.

“Amara” he says like he’s trying it out on his tongue. A smile forms on his lips. “It’s beautiful just like you” I blush and look over to Jaxon who has that stupid smirk on his face.

I was snapped out my look of Jaxon by Lucas speaking. “So I was wondering if we could get to know each other and if you would be willing to give me a chance?” He says with hope.
