Healer’s Guilt
Aaron’s hand trembled as he closed the last journal, the guilt of his organisation settling heavily on him. The papers they had contained were diverse, including accounts of the medical trials itself, the adverse effect the trial had on those with power, the detailed description of the volunteers, their descent into madness and murderous rage. Stories that sounded very much like the Sundered.
There had been reports on the rise of a scourge that seemed to be sweeping the ranks of those who would be Kin, report after report of more people breaking entirely and not recovering from the transition.
