Two days had passed since I found out about the fate of the victims’ wolves. Through Lina, I learnt that adjusting to their new lives was excruciating for them. Even after regaining strength and returning to their packs, their lives had changed forever.
There were times I tried to decipher what they might feel, but each time, I had to stop thinking about it. I couldn’t bring myself to imagine how life would be without Luna. It would have been humiliating. Luckily, Luca and Lina secured the necessary support for them and were welcomed into the pack by its members, even after losing their own wolves. The Black Hunters pack had suffered a heavy blow, but I was positive that they could regain their previous glory. Luca was a capable alpha, and even without a luna to help him
