Piper ran as fast as her leg could carry,she ran so fast that her feet were sore.when she looked back she saw a group of men chasing her with different vehicles.she looked at the bus stop ahead of her and saw a taxi parked,she screamed at the top of her voice "SIR,SIR PLEASE STOP"when the man in the taxi heard her,he stopped immediately.when she entered she didn't even think of putting on her seatbelt for safety and urged the man to go.the taxi man looked at her from the side mirror and asked "you okay kid?"she quickly nodded and asked the man to go "where to?"she didn't answer but tried catching her breath..."mid-mid ville"she stuttered.The man quickly turned around because he was already going in the wrong direction.at the back seat,Piper was still trying to catch her breath when the man gave her a bottle of water.without hesitation,she reached out to the water and took it in a blink of an eye.she hurriedly opened the water and took everything in one gulp.the driver amazed asked her again "are you okay kid?"she nodded again.the driver worried about her asked her "are you hungry?"she nodded quickly.luckiky for them,there was a fast food not too close from where they were.he sped up and got there as soon as possible.she got down from the car and rushed inside while the driver sat there confused.
